I have done $2200.00 with them in the last 3 months. Sometimes I feel like I am being ripped off when I never get to talk with the customer to offer my services because I was too slow to respond but overall I think I am reaching customers who I would not have gotten without SM so I believe risk vs reward is pretty good.

I believe email is the way of the future. I get many email requests through my website and I book most of them. The key to email is to follow up with a second email or a phone call. People live fast pace lives these days and with email it stays in front of them versus a quick phone call. I have had email requests that I thought I lost and they have called me or emailed me back 3 weeks later to schedule. Just my opinion. 😀

I would like to see the sheet look similar to stanley steemer where it lets the customer see everything we offer and lets them choose what they want. I believe the more information we have before we contact the customer the more professional we look in the customers eyes and the more accurate we can be on our quotes.

Trevor I am hoping more people will be getting their carpet and upholstery cleaned instead of buying new to save money. This is only my second winter but I am doing real well this winter. I am up about 450% over last winter. I am basicly doing this winter what I did last summer.

I put my rake on the left side on top of my shelf also but I just put a couple of small straps from the shelf to the van and slide the handle under them and it stays secure with no problem.

I have been with service magic since February 2007. It has generated $1942.33 in sales and 14 new customers that I might not have reached. On top of that I have gotten 8 referal customers from that 14 which makes 22 new customers and about $3200 in sales. I have had 25 leads for a total cost of $300 vs. $3200 in sales which is about 9% advertising cost. Everyone is correct though you have to be on top of it and call the customer as soon as the call comes in. Just yesterday I booked a $300 job that was a referal from my very first sm customer over 7 months ago. My thinking since I am very new to the area is use every vehicle I can to gain customers. Once I get into their homes and they see our superior product and great customer service they will advertise for me. So in closing I think service magic is a great vehicle to drive your buiseness and help you reach customers who might not ever use you.

I had the same thing happen with a case of pads and when I washed them they all turned grey. I called Adam and he said that it was a bad batch so you might want to get ahold of adam on those bsutton and get them replaced.

    Thanks Cody,

one more question though. If we use the white or red pad on poly floors to remove scratches what do we put on the floor to make it shine again?? or does the pad itself polish the floor?

Why do we not have answers to this question yet?? Poly floors are everywhere, is it that hard to find a cleaner and a system to clean them?? we are leaving thousands of dollars on the table every single day. Is this something corporate is working on ?? I know almost every new home and most of the homes in the last 10 years in my areas have poly floors in them.

its kinda like the dirt napper, they sell it at the oreck store the only difference is you don’t put a pad in the middle of it so you go over the stairs with the mini dirt napper then back over them with pads and they turn out GREAT!!

Thats too high talk them down. I have paid $720.00 for 20k and now im on a plan that gives me 40k for $996.00. I tried 20k 2 times with not a good result basicly just enough sales to pay the cost but I just dropped 40k this week and have good success so far and still getting calls every day. I have booked 8 jobs for about $1100.00 in sales this week so far. I told my rep if I didn’t get some results this would be the last time so they worked hard on my ad to make sure it was looking good and would be effective.
