I’m getting ready to re-do the shelving in my van so I can carry two sets of equipment. How are you guys carying your upholstery wand and carpet rakes? The wand takes up so much room and it too tall to stand up.

On top of the shelves on the left side, I fanangle the rake in through the hole of the handle and put the handle for the tile and grout scrub brush there too.

I put my rake on the left side on top of my shelf also but I just put a couple of small straps from the shelf to the van and slide the handle under them and it stays secure with no problem.

    Hello All,

    Newbie here since October.

I bought 6 “spring loaded clips” from Super Wal-Mart for about 6 bucks to store my rake, broom & grout brush on a pole on the underside of the roof. Drilled holes in the steel braces. One in the middle and one on each side. I clip them in backwards with the heavy end towards the back which I clip in first from the back doors and the light end towards the front which I then clip in from the slider door. They don’t rattle, swing or fall out.

My Upholstery wand sits on the top shelf on the drivers side with bungee cords.

    Hope all is well!

I use the bungees as well. Love the clip idea.

I took piece of PVC pipe and attached it to the top of the shelves with zip ties.

I attached a pvc pipe to the van braces on the ceiling of van works great for brushes, rakes, & mop handles.
