    Violet:

Bryan is right on with what he writes. I have increased my prices also. Twice this year alone, and will do so again to maintain the percentage of profit margin that I want. I haven’t had a single complaint from those who have booked their cleanings with me, and to those who did not were only price shopping anyways. Having a great results is of the upmost importance to me, for some individuals this priority is not even on the list. Bryan is correct…. you don’t want to clean for them. By all means… raise your price.

The assembled are still awaiting a review on this particular piece of equipment.

    Bryan:

But our cleaning product is not a “total” encapsulation product. There are products out there that use encapsulation as the only method of mechanic’s in the cleaning process and I don’t think they work as well in my understanding. correct?

I’m very impressed with what you have done here. “Kudo’s” to you and the job you are obviously doing!

I have 2 nobles buffers. I have replaced the base on both a few times now. usually about every8 months I replace a base. I understand a new brand of buffer is in the works with the corp office. I would guess that parts will always be available for the nobles. At least for a while anyways.

I still have the same machine I started out with over 8 years ago. A whirlpool duet front loader. I’ve replaced the computer board twice and the filter twice.

My logo’s are peeling a bit over the wheel wells. But they still look pretty good otherwise. I believe that these logos are only designed to last about 4 to 5 years but I could be wrong.

This is a curious thing to me. I can understand the desire of wanting and even paying someone for the purpose of getting a review of me and the results I get.

I truly get this. but doesn’t HB corp already have a system in place just for said purpose? I don’t think that the HB evaluation cards are very expensive to use although there is a mailing cost involved. Please forgive me if I’m coming accross harsh as I’m really just trying to understand the why of things. I use the HB evaluation cards religously and this has worked very well in understanding what/how the customer is thinking about HB after I’ve left. I’ve been contacted by the “Angie’s list” people but have politely turned down that media also. I know not every area is the same. People act and offer referrals differently in every area. Reviews are presented differently also in every area.

    Just curious I guess…

The afore written words are not mine…. but Cody’s.

Maybe not the most important thing I learned in my training some 8 years ago but certainly up at the top of the list.

    Thanks Cody!

When cleaning for commercial accounts I leave little candies and business cards at each desk when I’ve finished the office. I can’t count how many times I’ve cleaned the residence for people after cleaning their offices.

Steve: Your idea sounds pretty good! I’m curious tho OSHA would handle this if they saw the extra connection within the wiring. A contractor friend of mine got fined 10 g’s for just such a thing. I don’t work at a lot of places that would have an OSHA person making visual inspections but just wanted operator’s to be aware that there may come a day…

I’ve also used it on a single pair of underware when I go camping for a week. This helps me to pack more beer….

95% of my business comes from “word of mouth”. I have a Dex yellow pages ad. Small, less than a business card which cost me $285.00 per month and get very little response from. (It’s a reference point only). I will be reducing that ad in the next contract. My van display attracts a couple of percentage points also but again… “Word of mouth” ranks surpream. When the business slows down a bit I simply hit the commercial business’s and drum up business that way. But for the most part March thru December that word of mouth advertising keeps me booked out 4 to 5 weeks in advance. Year after year.
