    That is some serious inventory….What we wound up doing after the 5 th buffer started growling and grinding is keep it and not get fixed….they were going to take the buffer for perhaps a month or more…..yuck! so it still make a slightly obnoxious noise and if it dies..Dan has mine to work with…then I will get the other fixed….maybe, or bring it to you Brian and let you do your magic troubleshooting and “git er done'”

    Thanks for the information Brian. Mine has started to do that occasionally and if I stop, it usually doesn’t do it the second startup. I”ll be getting a couple of those capacitors!!

    I have 2 nobles buffers. I have replaced the base on both a few times now. usually about every8 months I replace a base. I understand a new brand of buffer is in the works with the corp office. I would guess that parts will always be available for the nobles. At least for a while anyways.
