“Also what do you think about there carpet? Looks just like money!”
I think investment brokers are always looking for money, and the carpets are there to remind them of it… Hum, there’s a thought. I think I’ll paint my office green.

    Den,
I love the stair buffer! Much, much easier than cleaning by hand or extracting them and most the time still dry in one hour. As far as the century unit, I had one and sold it to another operator (to me it was heavy & bulky), the upholstery mate is the best ever for cleaning upholstery! The paper -vs- the yellow pages is different in each area. Yellow pages is a must. Just pick a size of ad your can live with. The paper is nice because you can select the days and the month. When I did newspaper, I ran the ad the same day the grocery stores had inserts (biggest circulation day). Welcome to the full time gig!

It’s been a while since this has been viewed. As far as additional charges for more population, I feel things should be the same company wide. If not I feel we should have an example of what state owners are doing as a guide so we can make a consistent choice. A) B) or C) as approved by corp. I also feel we should re-focus on going after new sales. However, if a new buyer is financing, what’s the down payment? $14,450, right? What’s the monthly financing? What all is included in the $14,450.00 to corporate? I know it includes a “schedule A”. Is that travel, training, and logo package too? I should know this but it’s been awhile.

I think we all agree the test/questionnaire is a good thing. Does anyone know where we are on this?

Sorry you’re having a buzz. Never hard of anyone else having the problem. Before calling it the “old buzzard”, I’d call corporate.

Ditto!!! I only know of one in this business that has lasted more than 5 years. Even they worked at the same place before the partnership and they think very much a like. Personally, I would get a sign from God first. Even then He may have to hit me over the head with the sign before I’d do it. Good luck! I’m an LLC.

Many will tell you they have a carpet cleaner. “Are you thrilled with them? Okay, not a problem. Could you put me second on the list and call me when you need a back up?” This line has got me most of the property management complexes I still have today. It just takes time and an occasional check back. “What does your current carpet cleaner charge you?” This question helps to know if you really want the job. Example, if the current cleaner charges 10 cents a sqft you may want to run if you charge 25 cents a sqft. The .10 a sqft guy won’t be around much longer, and you won’t want the “cheap cleaner” clean-up. Good questions always help. Staying positive makes a gigantic difference. Remember you want the ones who want value at a fair price, not the ones who want the cheapest price.

I hope this place doesn’t have a fish tank full of fish. The fish might be jealous of the size and beauty of your tank and try to switch tanks… I’m imagining your tank going down the isle like a model strutting down center stage. I’m now wondering if those poor fish will live to see the light of day. So, so much jealousy!!!! You go Sutton! So… how are you going to explain about the fish? I hope this fish story will be better than the last one. Have a great day!!

Note: towel cleaning even generates more heat much faster. Caution: As stated in the before post, maintain the proper moisture while cleaning.

    Ditto!!
I use them first pass unless I’m cleaning a thick shag carpet. Then I use a BBC first.
Sometimes I also finish with a micro fiber pad when towel after towel still comes up dark.

The large van looks like a cross between a Hummer and a Dodge sprinter. The wrap would be a nightmare. Still, it would be interesting to see the MPG on it.

Okay, I haven’t thought this through, but my first reaction is… You owe me $1,200, so instead of me taking you to small claims court and messing up your credit ratings, and this getting ugly, why don’t we come to an agreement. You can trade your equipment and your phone # (both of which aren’t making you any money right now) for what is owed, we part ways and I release you from your contract? What do you say? I can be there Thursday… (First thing have him sign the agreement)
My first thought, I will except criticism. Whats your thoughts?

I’ve seen them also. I think it would work well as a managers van in a 2 van or more area.
    What’s the MPG?
