How do the micro fiber pads work for those using them ? Do you use them for drying or cleaning ? I know when i clean this fabric it really drinks solution..just wondering if they are a good buy.

I use them on high dollar carpet & I like the way they clean. I don’t use them on rental property or real dirty carpet.
I really like them. I find they are very effective on all types of carpet but especially berber and commercial type carpet. It takes a bit to trust them as they are blue and you don’t see the soil on them. We always finish towel residential so we can guage their effectiveness. They are very absorbent so you may want to rewet between passes. I feel they are well worth the investment.

I use them first pass unless I’m cleaning a thick shag carpet. Then I use a BBC first.
Sometimes I also finish with a micro fiber pad when towel after towel still comes up dark.

If if is hard to see the soil on them, how does one know when to flip it ovewr or change it out? Or does one assume that it needs changeing based on how the carpet looks. I havn’t odered any yet but may the next time I need pads.
They are more absorbent but don’t show the dirt unless it’s real dirty. To gauge the amount of soil your dealing with, you still need to use other pads or use the towels after using MF pads. To me it’s like a cross between the BBC pad and the woven turf pad. Again soils are different nation/world wide. What works super great here may not work as well somewhere else. I really like MF pads. I don’t clean without them.
I am still a bit sceptical but one of my techs loves them. Says they are way good. I do like the fact that I can wash them in my own washer because they aren’t as bulky as the other pads. I too use the finishing towel to determine if the carpet is clean.
I like the pads I use them on commercial carpet seems to work well the only thing some times the edges rip open so be carefull on edges.
I find these pads to work well on the low nap commercial carpets. Seems the lower the nap, the better they work.
I like the micro fiber pads. I use them on all types carpet. I did a test. Used a fiber pad & a woven turf pad side by side then followed up with a towel.The side with the micro fiber came up cleaner on the towel. They also seem to last longer. The fibers on the cotton pads start breaking down after only a couple of uses. They are smaller so you can fit more in the washer & they don’t take as long to dry,so if you use the laundry mat that’s less money & time.
i guess i’m a little old school! i still like woven turf pads , but my tec does like them on low nap or berber. i guess we need to do a little test in this area with our soil conditions
I’m starting to come around a little. Didn’t like them at first, but the more I use them the better I like them. Not being able to see the dirt was the biggest thing. Berber and low nap carpets is where they shine! 😀
