Large commercial jobs are time consuming and hard on the body. To save time and effort, I made a 14 gallon mega power sprayer. It consists of a utility cart as a base, a 14 gallon poly spray tank, a 12 volt pump, a 4 spray tip, 36 inch boom on the front and a hand spray wand. The unit is powered by a 12 volt marine battery. I already had the cart and battery, the rest of the parts cost $270. The entire unit would cost approx. $500. This has the capability of spraying 14 gallons in 7 minutes. I will decrease the pressure so I can manage the product usage better. The trial run will be tonight on a 7500 sqft job. I will post results and a pic if I can figure that out. ( instructions on putting a pic on here would be great )

Just an fyi in case you have never dealt with carts. We clean high rise buildings and use the shopping carts provided by the building to put our equipment and pads in. Make sure to clean the wheels of your cart. When we begin the job and spray the first area of carpet to clean, we roll the cart over that wet spot numereous times to help clean the wheels of the cart and our buffer. This way, you can roll the cart over a clean spot without dirtying your carpet (not ideal, but when you are cleaning a hallway that you can only access by elevator, it is necessary in order to clean in front of said elevator). Just something to consider. Your situation/cart will probably be different since it is your cart, but you never know what you are bringing in from the parking lot when you roll it in. In your case, you could probably just wipe cart wheels quick and go.
I hope this place doesn’t have a fish tank full of fish. The fish might be jealous of the size and beauty of your tank and try to switch tanks… I’m imagining your tank going down the isle like a model strutting down center stage. I’m now wondering if those poor fish will live to see the light of day. So, so much jealousy!!!! You go Sutton! So… how are you going to explain about the fish? what ever happened with this power sprayer? Where are the pics and how did it perform?
It worked very well. It needs a couple of valves to make it easier to operate. I forgot to post the pictures and now have it dis-assembled and stored for the winter. You may have to wait till spring if I don’t get it out sooner. Sorry!
