We tend to like to send hate emails to companies that continue to plague our phone lines. that way they can deal with the problem from the other end.

my washer has a sanitize or heated cycle as well, but i have been slow to use it because i was worried about the heat effecting the pads. have you had any issues with that? also do you use any additional detegent? or just let the remaining product in the pads do the work?

i like to use them as door mats for empty houses when its nasty outside. nothin worse then cleaning up your own tracks on freshly cleaned carpet.

I do the same as Gordon. i just let the customer know what i need it for and ask them. I mostly only ask those that i have been working with for some time, so it hasn’t been an issue. a few i have had to ask repetedly, but they come threw with glowing reports in the end.

during the busy months my wonderful wifes takes the calls which is a huge help, but when it slows down in the winter i take them, however my cell is forwarded to my wifes cell. that way if i am on the phone, or talking to a customer, or miss the call while vacuuming then the customer can still talk to a live person and get questioned answered. we keep a double schedual, on digital that i carry and one paper that my wife keeps, but one could probably just use your significant other as a message service till you can call them back.

with return trips for odors, i have just started telling coustomers that we start at the bottom of our cleaning method (usually a regular clean) then if the odor returns we will waive our minimum fee, and just charge time/materials for the return visit, that way the customer isn’t out anything more then they would be spending anyway, and were not dumping extra product on problems that were fixed with a regular cleaning.

Currently, we are using both paper, and black berry. my wife keeps the paper, i have the berry. the calls come to me first, and if i can’t get to them they automatically forward to her, she can then update my scheduale on google calander. sometimes it gets a touch confusing, but i like it better then letting calls go to voice mail. I am looking forward to the new ipad from mac, if it is everything they say it is, i have thought about getting those for the van(s) for gps, schedualing, and if i can make it work invoicing and printing too. i also have a guy who is building a new web based program that could do all of this over the net from any device with internet access. if it turns out like he has explained it we may invest in that as well. lots of ifs, but technology is moves fast

I have been wearing a black workman line of rebox. they have a good griping sole, seem to be holding up the the chemicals, and while kinda boreing and old manish, they still present a down to business work look.

Granted I have never used a plastic one, but I like our sprayer and the cart. its probbably adds some weight, but it provides a great place to hang the wand so it doesn’t get battered, and wheeling it around tipped on two wheels means i can still get in tight places, and suck all but the smallest amount of solution from the bottom of my tank. and the number one reason is i find that i enjoy being a little on the lazy side, and not having to lug the sprayer around is super. just a thought from the peanut gallery
