Brian is correct in his trouble shooting the air leak at the suction side of the pump. This is known as a “vacuum leak” in the pump world. this can be as simple as a loose connection, pinched suction, suction screen collapse, diaphragm perforation etc. etc. Good thing these pumps in the HB world are diaphragm type pumps. I have had my share of issues with the power sprayers…the 110 v sprayer worked better for me. The battery sprayer has never been my favorite. I think there is room for improvement in this area of equipment. Diaphragm pumps should have the pressure relieved after use in order to prolong the life of the diaphragm. It is also a good idea to rinse the sprayer after use so it doesn’t become brittle from the solution sitting in the pump cavity. When servicing these pumps it is better to replace the complete assembly (motor and pump) unless you are well versed in these pumps.
NJ05ParticipantI find commercial carpet to be poly for the most part…why use this type for this type (no pile) of carpet ?
NJ05Participantbottles are ok, but you should see my van logos LOL…or whats left of them…LOL
NJ05ParticipantNo
NJ05ParticipantI have deleted this customer from my list. I am convinced it was a pre existing issue. No big deal to me, she was just wanting new carpet and was trying to go the insurance route.
NJ05ParticipantHey, how about each bottle being a differant color ? Red for protector, green for 101, blue for TGP, purple for citrus booster…………just kidding …..but it would sure be a colorful mix of cotainers…
NJ05ParticipantI can only imagine the logos going on the new style vans mentioned……my logos never did stick to body lines on my econoline. I have customized mine by doing some trimming. They are showing age as well, checking, cracking, peeling. I have had to remove some of the wrap to keep it looking fair.
NJ05ParticipantSo how can a buffer be awsome ? LOL
NJ05ParticipantFrom my experience on the waxing side of things, it did a nice job on the few i have done. If you are talking about gouges instead of scratches then you have a totally different animal. A gouged floor needs either filling or sanding to remove. Wood flooring has many variables that have to be considered, laminated, hardwood, quality, age, finish the list goes on. The money is good if you choose to pursue it but training and research are huge. I have chosen not to pursue wood flooring any longer.
NJ05ParticipantIf it is like mine (120 V ac) these are diaphragm pumps as are the batt. oper. ones the diaphram perforates over time mine also caused the press. switch to stop controlling due to leaking through to the switch. and i had a pressure washer on my hands (after I replaced the diaphragm). I now bleed off pressure after each use, this takes the pressure off the diaphragm. You can buy replacement parts but unless you are well versed in these pumps, I would buy the replacement head instead. good luck.
NJ05ParticipantNo wonder my reminder cards are not working…LOL
NJ05ParticipantCall the cops
NJ05ParticipantYou can mask the area off to keep splash or spray off unwanted surfaces. You can do it by hand at those areas. Tile cleaning, if you are using the buffer, spins solution all over so you have to take precautions. To clean unsealed grout you have to charge accordingly to make it worth your while because it takes time to get it clean….I have stopped doing tile…it is just not worth it to me…but then i’m not in my twenties any more HA HA.
good luck
NJ05Participant.
NJ05ParticipantMy Logos have become checked and are starting to peel. I have had to remove a portion inorder to stop the peeling.
