This problem is seen in about 90% of new tile installations.

You might be surprised to find out that grout cannot be sealed at the time of tile installation. Newly installed grout usually needs 72 hours to cure before a sealant can be applied to it. Since sealer is not necessarily a “requirement” of a tile and grout job, contractors will often skip this important step for one, or both, of the follow reasons:

Reason #1: It would require a return trip to the job sight, 3 days or longer from the installation date. This is often difficult for busy contractors.
Reason #2: They would incur additional man hours as well as the material costs associated with the cleaning and sealing the newly installed tile and grout.

We have been trying to get a response from them since the beginning, they make you leave a message and no one calls back, they are impossible to get ahold of, the one time I actually got through, they couldn’t answer my question and said they would have someone call me back, that never happened, how many times can you try to give someone work??? Even after Cody contacted them, they STILL didn’t contact me, yet they send me postcards and email that I respond to and STILL no call directly from them, so I guess you can see what opinion I have formed about them. (Anyone that can give us a phone number or any contact info for a good SEO company would be much appreciated)

My avg. payout is about $900.00/month on Google Adwords from Jun to Dec. About 500.00 avg. the rest of the months. And I get half my bus. from Adwords, I paid 350.00 to be in 5 development news papers an web sites some are monthly some are quarterly . I think this will prove to be a good nitch source and all high end work . The smallest ticket was 250.00 highest was 650.00 and I intend to go in at least 15 more private dev. that I deem it worth it. Angie’s List is working out, we got the Super Service Award for the 3rd straight year, again, high end customers, the smallest ticket was 150.00 highest was 850.00, . No pay out on my end. I avg. around 400.00 over all. Reminders and a follow up phone call works. Cold calling which I’m not very good at helped but not much . Referral and Property Management/Realtors which I offer special pricing really works out. I don’t do room specials I charge by sq ft. I know I do get some crazy high tickets, but you have to understand, once I get into the house, I am going down my list and you’re getting “something” extra done, furniture, orientals, beds, protection, vba….something!

Here in upstate Pennsylvania my competitors get between .75 and $1.50 a sq ft for hardwood floor cleaning and polishing, we charge $1.00 sq ft with a $125.00 minimum.

I don’t re-use pads unless they are fairly clean, for what I charge I just chalk it up to job cost.
I mix the new wood floor cleaner at twice the reccomended strength and keep a 2 and half gallon pre-mixed.
For the residue specs try mixing the wood cleaner and warm water.
The only time I use wax is on unfinished floors. For me, the new wood floor cleaner works better than the wax on
    pre-finished floors.

I use same method as Dave too. Spray, dwell, 101 spray, buff but we use the Dirt Napper for us saves time.

I cannot belive I cannot find a piece of rotten steam cleaned remnant LOL if you have anymore before and after photos of your remnants I would love to copy them, my idea is to dedicate a page on our website to show what steam cleaning actually does to the carpet backing. Maybe something about unhealthy effects, ect… any help from anyone would be appreciated 🙂
