    Hiya Mike This is Lori,

Ok, let me try to reiterate our interest in this offer…
which btw the original proposal of $350 was for a different area,
so we asked for another proposal with a smaller area
and for this size it “was” $150, but we asked to “try” it for $100
to see what it does and they agreed. (as stated in above post)

The whole point of us gathering information for this was to
get exposure “locally”, the organic areas would be just a bonus.
(example, google local, yahoo local ect… but yahoo is actually the easiest
for us to get around the local thing ourselves we already know)
As it stands the search engines are making it difficult for us to
advertise “locally” if you do not have a physical address and
corresponding phone number (yahoo aside). This guy is saying that he has a
way to get us shown “locally” as well as the generic areas
(which I stated would just be a bonus) This would allow us to
eliminate purchasing more relay numbers or opening up post office boxes or ups store addresses.
I reviewed your post and have the answers to
the questions you provided, I have listed them in order below…

Ranking for 10 Keywords within the Carpet Cleaning Industry – Can they be as specific as ‘carpet cleaning rexburg’?
Yes, the keywords are tailored to us specifically

SEO/Optimization and Ranking for the 12 cities – Is that just the local results or organic and paid results too? [/b]
It includes only “local” and generic search results

    Guarantee first page?
The guarantee is this, they guarantee you top placement (1st page) with a rank of #1 or #2
depending on if there is a battle with a competitor. If there is, they battle for #1.

Lighter Optimization for the remainder cities – What is this?
Ok, just as an example – Your county has 10 MAJOR cities and 10 MINOR cities
the MAJOR cities is where the bulk of the focus goes, however
the MINOR cities will also be exposed as well, at no added charge,
so now the entire county is being shown, as you may or may not know,
the search engines only acknowledge so many areas in the county you service,
I noticed this myself on Google maps especially; this guy is saying that he
can get these MINOR areas exposed for us at no additional charge.

Page Content Development and Copywriting material for SEO –
Is it unique page content that they write or from another website selling content?

They use unique page content, they do not take other material from elsewhere, if by
some chance “you” yourself provide them with something that “you” took from another site
they claim no responsibility which you actually initial on the agreement before they get started.
On that note they have an internal person that actually writes the content,
she will send a questionnaire once the agreement is signed asking questions directed
specifically to us, then, she researches our company as a whole to write about
how we differ from other companies, why we are better, ect….

    Development of Meta-Tags/ Meta-Titles/ Meta-Descriptions –
Free, is that just part of the Word press blog or for your entire site?

This is for the blog only

30-60 sec Custom Tailored Standard Video with Optimization –
Do they create the entire video from scratch or just modify the available through Corporate?

They actually create a video themselves using the information on our own website,
however if we provide them with a video of our own, they will use that as well.

I hope this helps (whoosh I have typers cramps now LOL)

We talked to him again and he gave me a quote for our smallest county, (40,000 households, 60,000 population) for $100 a month, which is still kinda on the high side, but what he has to offer is defintely the next level to internet marketing. One of the things he said he does is he tricks (for instance Google) into showing us “local”. The only thing I can come up with is, he is using some sort of optimization program, which I am going to look into when I get in later. If that is the case, it may be something worth purchasing and learning. I was thinking maybe a few of us going in on it, maybe all chipping in and hiring someone or maybe getting Corporate interested as an extra service. I may do it for the $100 a month, since it is on a month to month basis just to see the power of the program he’s using (IF he’s using one). Anyway, I’ll look into it when I get home, in the meantime it wouldn’t hurt for “you” to interrogate him too 🙂

    Greg,
Have you ever heard of this guy? He claims he can keep you in the TOP local spot by tricking Google to make you look local…
    ““““““`
    Lori,
After much review, I have found that there are only 12 cities that need to be focused on out of the list of 40 you gave me.
The 12 Cities are as follows:
    Main Focus:

    Archbald
    Carbondale
    Chinchilla
    Clarks Summit
    Dunmore
    Mayfield
    Montdale
    Moscow
    Newton
    Olyphant
    Scranton
    Taylor
    Secondary Focus:
    18447 – Blakely – 18411 – Clarks Green – 18424 – Clifton – 18444 – Daleville – 18414 – Dickson City – 18512 – Drinker – 17814 – East Benton –
    18416 – Elmhurst – 18403 – Eynon – 18420 – Fleetville – 18433 – Jermyn – 18434 – Jessup – 18440 – La Plume – 18444 – Madisonville – 18447 – Montdale – 18507 – Moosic – – 18436 – Mount Cobb 18518 – Old Forge – 18452 – Peckville -18653 – Ransom – 18407 – Simpson – 18444 – Springbrook – 18424 – Thornhurst – 18512 – Throop – 18433 – Tompkinsville – 18421 – Vandling – 18471 – Waverly-

So in turn you would receive the most amount of optimization on the 12 cities listed above with the remainder of the cities to follow with smaller search optimization. There is no reason to target the smaller the same due to the efforts are unnecessary.
To provide this kind of optimization for this area would cost $350 a month on a month to month program. For the $350 you would receive the following:

    Custom Developed WordPress Blog
Ranking for 10 Keywords within the Carpet Cleaning Industry
SEO/Optimization and Ranking for the 12 cities
Lighter Optimization for the remainder cities
Page Content Development and Copywriting material for SEO
Search Engine Friendly Content integrated with Blog
    Development of Meta-Tags/ Meta-Titles/ Meta-Descriptions
Submission to Yahoo, Google, MSN and other Search Engines
Submission to Yahoo Local, MSN Local, and Google Maps
60-80 reciprocal links to 40-50 Directories such as Face book, Merchant Circle, Etc.
30-60 sec Custom Tailored Standard Video with Optimization
Video Submission to 50 Video Websites

I have attached to videos one to further explain full optimization and smaller optimization and the other a link of a testimonial video by a affiliate of mine.

THIS IS AN OLDIE BUT A GOODIE!
I am sure that some of you seasoned operators already know this so this is for the ones that don’t and mainly for the new operators. I am going to break this down my way for all (which is what I try to do in my posts)

A way to take some of the weight off of the buffer…

I use male and female locking plug ends (not sure of technical term)
Cut the cord about 18 inches from the buffer, attach the male (3 wires follow the color code) then attach the female the same way to the left over cord. (Sort of like creating your own extension cord)
So to give you a visual, you now have a buffer with a cord only about 18 inches long hanging from it, now equipped with a male end plug attached to it. It takes off about 10 to 15 pounds from the weight of the buffer depending on how long the cord is. It’s that easy!
So, when I go out to the van I put the cord over my shoulder like a bullet belt (it’s the best I can describe it) I grab my dirt napper, pads and my jug of cleaner and go into the home.
The buffer is not only lighter but easier to maneuver. Also, when in a residence on the second floor especially, you save the time of not having to re-wrap the cord around the buffer. Just wrap the cord up, put a clip on it, grab your napper, pads and sprayer and go down the steps.
(Since I prefer to work from the top floor, down.)
I vacuum and pre-spray from the bottom floor, up. (Since I use F.A.E. in my power sprayer, it already on the top floor when I am getting ready to clean.)
Next, I go to the area I am getting ready to clean, spray down with cleaner, unwrap the cord, plug the cord in, set it in position, go and get buffer and start. (For me, this saves time.) IAdvantages of doing it this way for me…

All the cords are interchangeable, I don’t have to worry about the cord bundling up and causing disconnections in the buffer housing, and I don’t have to deal with the dreaded split cord end. The cords actually last longer. (Sorry Cody) Also, the cords are easier to clean when needed. Being portable now, you can bring them into your home to do so, and not have to be in the elements like the postman.

I hang the cord on an “S” hook in the back of my van; I use an orange round clip with teeth that I purchased from the Home Depot to secure the cord.
I use the large industrial locking plug ends also found at Home Depot.
The larger orange clips (H.D. seems to always be out of) and the male/female locking plug ends, I have a hard time finding them and when I do it’s usually only 1 set for the plug ends. Sometimes I have to go back 3 or 4 times, since they only keeping stock 1 set at a time.

    Hope this helps
    Steve

    Convenient Key Holder Pick-Up Program

We here at Heaven’s Best understand the value of your time as well as your clients. With this in mind we offer “convenient key holder pick-up”.
    This option works as follows:
You put us into contact with your client, we then set everything up with them personally. (leaving you completely out of it from this point on)

We set up a specific day and time to pick up the key, let ourselves in and walk thru the home, measure, incorporate the discount and any other services they may require and call them to confirm the price.

At that point if they are satisfied with the price we will be prepared to stay and clean that day and work out payment details with them directly or if in other cases if you the realtor/property manager are authorized to pay for services rendered we would call you personally to confirm the price and again stay that day to do the work.

Once cleaning is complete we return the key to the office having already been paid by the customer themselves via credit card or pick up a payment from you directly.

We offer all of your customers a 20% discount on our carpet and upholstery cleaning services!

Please take the time to look over our reference/referral list of the other Realtor/Property Management Companies affiliated with Heaven’s Best that are taking advantage of our convenient key holder pick up program!

This is one way that will actually help you sell a home or offer an additional service to your clients without having to do anything but refer Heaven’s Best.

**We are now offering all Real Estate Agents/ Property Managers a Personal 35% discount on our carpet cleaning services, as a way to help you feel more comfortable about referring us to your clients.**

Our favorite for the last 6 months has been
“The more we clean, the more YOU save!”
and then we explain the discounts…

My wife will also tells the customer, “if you’d like to add work while he’s there, feel free, once he is in the home, you own him”.
It kinda puts the “bug” in their ear, and once I am in the home I go into “selling mode”. Thanks

Justin, just a word of thanks for that suggestion, we downloaded it and it runs great! While I am on the subject of thanks…I wanted to say also, between the help you gave us with Google Adwords, the free listing sights you’ve posted, and countless misc. help with computer stuff and websight information, so far this month our Google advertising is beating all of our phone books combined and we are not even half way thru with what we want to do with our websight and Google ads. So thank you so much for the support. (just my extra 2 cents) 8)
