I basically tell people I don’t move any furniture. If they want anything cleaned under to have it moved out of the room PRIOR to my arrival. 9 out of 10 of my customers don’t have a problem with this.

I’m extremely rude with them and try to find ways to piss them off and insult them. I know this is wrong but it makes me feel better.

I clean for a couple of apartment complexes in my area. I agree with Gregg; not much money but they add up fast. I do atleast 2-3 jobs a week for these complexes. Best part is no advertising cost and the apartments are always vacant. Come and go as you please; I love that. Wish I had more apartment complexes to clean for. Average cost per apartment is $80-$90.

I purchased some bbc pads about 6 months ago and they’re awesome. The old pads collected a lot of “lint”, these new ones dont have that problem so I ordered another 6 of’m. Just recieved them a couple days ago. Now i’m scared after reading these last couple of posts. Also the new micro fiber pads work real well too. Watch out for the stair micro fiber pads though. They clean really good but dont hold too well to the drive plate. It’s a REAL pain in the @$$.

Dave 3705-C is the correct drive plate for the stair buffer. I have ordered it a couple times. The picture is wrong. Also just wondering how do you use the big buffer on stairs?

I just did a job for them over the weekend (first time). Had to clean the floor mats of a vehicle. What I like about them is I get to bill them whatever I want; unlike Guardsman where they pay you a flat rate. I got down on my hands and knees and scrubbed those floor mats for about an hour. I’m gonna bill them $100. Faxing in the invoice right now. Keep you posted on how long it takes to get paid.

I wound up calling her at work. Glad I did cause if I would have went down there I would have caused a scene I was so furious. After speaking to her for a while and listening to her plead her case, it became apparent it was all just a misunderstanding. New check is in the mail.

I’m not waiting a couple of months to get paid. I like Michael’s plan better.
