Decline in leads from corporate site ?..

I was wondering if anyone has noticed a decline in the number of leads from the corporate site?. Google has recently started to roll out Geo targeting for national phrases and it has hit Heavenbest.com pretty hard. If you go back about 6 months the number of competing pages for the phrase: carpet cleaning was less then 8 million and now it is over 73 million and growing fast. Google has 12 data centers and has been rolling out the geo targeting for more and more phrases so we all need to build backlinks if we want to rank well on Google. This issue is going to also affect local rankings in time so work on improving the ranking of your site.
