Concerning the “Pile Brush”, the Quote I use the most with customers is… “It’s easier to remove dirt then it is to remove mud and with this machine, it’s more effective and quicker too.” In the international seminar in Orland, the pile brush was reported to “remove as much as a pound and a half of dirt out of 1 square foot.”

I also like the idea. About the cards, it might be more of an expense, but if the 15% card was a business card size magnet, I don’t think it would be tossed and would more likely go on the refrigerator where I think you would want it.

I’d love to help. Assuming that “they” are carpets and “less dirty” is also the carpets…
My experience with a “Pile Brush” would help a lot with pad reduction and better carpet appearance and extension in carpet life expectancy.
How often are they cleaning the “High Traffic – Freeway” areas? Is this a known retailer?

If we are talking pads, try washing pads with “color fast” bleach.

I recently learned that hair spray is a great product for holding handles in place with out destroying something to remove them later.
I was 8 years old and at a good friends house. (In the 60’s) He had three older sisters. We walked down the hall to his room as his sisters were using hair spray. To say the least, we got lacquered to the wall… I’m glad my sisters were younger.

P.S. More info with Doug’s permission. He is doing 68-90k annually. He is the business manager/owner and has employees doing the cleaning. It would be difficult to manage the Business from China.

Well, fessing up or not, I don’t think you’ll see anything like that from Service Monster in the future. Was it a link to the article or the page that the ad was on?

Within 30 minutes of sending the above email, I received a call from the service monster owner. He immediately had gone to the Cleanfax page, and this is what he said “US Products wrote this article. We (service monster) have a display ad next to it. We would never ever write such a thing.” I told him I would make a post here and apologized for directing to him my equally harsh counter judgement. So, there you have it. Gordon

This is part of what I wrote to Service monster. …Personally I didn’t care for your article in Cleanfax, stating “Chemical residue left in carpets after shampoo or bonnet cleaning can cause rapid resoiling; this is typically not an issue when using carpet extraction.” Some do and some do not. I’ve been in the cleaning business for almost 32 years and cleaned with a variety of methods. Factually, H2O is a chemical and “carpet extraction” leaves a lot of it. Heaven’s Best is a low moisture cleaning process (using bonnets) that leaves no dirt attracting residues. I feel I’m writing for most Heaven’s Best owners and operators in saying this article is flawed and didn’t score any points. Please cancel my service immediately. A public retraction would slow the cancellation of other Heaven’s Best owner/operators. Either way, it’s your business, Gordon Kohler
I feel a public retraction from you would warrant a retraction of my cancellation.

Not included. To a steam cleaner: “How do you remove so much dirt and leave so much water?

When this first came out I ordered 2 (1 for each area). I am about to use this on a rental property. I paid $8.87 each and I’m charging $35 for the product. Not a bad return. The odor is like a wet dog smell. The property management didn’t hesitate on the go ahead to do. Cody said this products effects can last up to 7 days.
What are you charging for this product?
    I will be re-ordering 10!

Brian, You make a good point. The woven turf pads are more absorbent. I used to think it was because they had cotton in them, Instead they have a rayon mix. Not quite as absorbent as cotton but more absorbent then the polyester pads. More absorbent means less time buffing for the same results. Downside, keeping white as Brian stated as well as, pads don’t last quite as long.
Trade off: Time is money too. Less time cleaning, less pads to clean, and a small additional pad cost.
Can you tell I prefer to use woven turf pads…?

Reminder: If pads are continually “drifting” it may be time to look at a new drive plate, new pads, or carpet not moist enough…

If any of the pads are dried out they are not as absorbent and must be a bit moist to get epic cleaning. Cleaning them once before using on carpet help stabilize the fibers and leave far less lint. (Loose fibers)

    Happy cleaning!

    Thanks Brian.
The corporate office also sells the softer handles. In the past I would buy the Wall-mart hard bike handles (meant for outdoor use). The corporate handles are much better on the hands..
