Most charge by the pleat. However, having cleaned drapes for another franchise, I would gladly let a dry cleaner do the job. Many if not most are dry-clean only. Any water at all would ruin them.(drapes are very expensive to buy and pay someone to place the drapes back in place, because she doesn’t trust you any more). Hands held in the air holding the extraction device and hose. It is allot more work than upholstery and requires more skill and care too.

    Welcome to the board!
I haven’t had any problem with mine. I would call corporate. They seem to be the expert “talk you through it over the phone, guys.”

As I think about it more, I would just remove the word chemical.
People come up with all kinds of fears and concerns over the word “chemicals”. I once had a lady ask “do you use chemicals in your process?” The quick answer came… “none at all compared to the cup of coffee you are drinking.” She had no problem with the answer and neither did I.
On a side note, when I was a cleaner for chem-dry, (15+ years ago) the toughest battle we had, was to over come peoples concern over that word “chemical” from “chem”-dry. It’s great to be “Heaven’s Best”. I hope this helps!

I find as Greg has stated, perspective is the key. It helps me to know two things, 1. I am not perfect, and 2. Some people are right no matter how wrong they are. Some people get something stuck in there heads and there is no changing it, even with the evidence staring right at them. (The #’s clocked on the radar gun) “Maybe the speedometer couldn’t go as fast as your turbo”. Reguardless of the case, I can choose to be upset or not. You also have the choice to except or reject anger. (My kids thought me that) Being a dad has thought me allot, and I’m still learning.

    Rose,

I would say “or harmful chemicals”. H2O by definition is a chemical. The rest looks good to me.

    Jeff,

I like your example of the dirt and hair. The dirt thing works for everyone, However the hair growing thing doesn’t always work for everyone. An example is the way I part my hair. See attached picture on the left of post. With a shine like that, my dad’s not the only one that calls me son (sun).

    Gee, Neil,

Success is a wonderful problem to have. If getting a hand truck would save time and frustration, go for it. Let us know how it works out.

Neil, as I was talking with Pat Schroeder in Ia, he said that many of the large complexes have moving dollies. He uses one every time he goes to that place. Sounds like a similar situation.

    Ammon,

Cody and I talked about this in Nov. of last year. He has the plan in the works. It’s all about lining up the ducks. It is, I believe one of the next ducks to be hit. It is a professionally done ad that could be used by all, (City or State) with one or two phone numbers or a special towards the end of the ad. This ad would be purchased from the corporate office. I’m really looking forward to this break through! I can direct it to a targeted area of my choosing. Instead of an area already sold. There’s not a better time to be Heaven’s Best!

Thank you Bryan for the update.

Glad to hear you are doing so well! Are the boxes unpacked in your new home yet?

    Dennis,

I’ve got the same thoughts with the same questions. I would like to see an example of the “dog & pony” show.

However, you should be packed and ready, you could have a hard time crossing the boarder and still make it in time with the secret code name dirt bag. Just in case have Commander Steiner at corporate stand by for covert operation clearance.

I’m looking forward to seeing all of you and having another great Seminar.
See you all in SLT LK.

FAE is not to be mixed with anything except water. When some thing else is added it changes the reaction and the results are not as favorable.

You might give one to your carpet installer to use on his own home and let him/her know they themselves can get an unlimited refill. (so they don’t use the ones that are to go to the customers) Check up with them after a week or so. We all get busy and some people forget. (not us of course)
