I will probably learn from a local guy as well. He’s a buddy of mine that used to work for a carpet company. He said we could make some good chunk of change. Sounds great bro. When you start, let me know and we can compare notes. God Bless.
FL18ParticipantYep, the grout is very wide, but worth the money. Some elbow grease will get it out with the grout brush, look at the pics I posted. Missing money there Ron.
FL18ParticipantI’m curious about that myself?
FL18ParticipantBrian nailed this one. Same thing John told me from the corporate office.
FL18Participant.75 is a good price, for the results you will get, they would have, or may have paid more.

FL18ParticipantLet it be. You didn’t say “if the spots come back, so do we” for free. However, it does sound as if you would come back and do it for free. After 6 months though, I would have to say no way dude, or you will become the carpet cleaner who does work for free.
FL18ParticipantPart of those lyrics are “walk away”. Lower the expectation level and pray a little. In a perfect world, every stain and dirt particle would come right out, but that’s not reality. Some customers just don’t understand the meaning of a permanent stain. We always tell them up front “educating” and some say go ahead and do it, which is fine for getting the job. It sometimes makes you feel inadequite or like you didn’t do a good job or something but hey, that still dark high traffic area might be permanently stained, but it IS clean.

FL18ParticipantI just has one of our apartment complexes, with 150 apartments, ask if we do this. I didn’t say no, I just said it’s coming soon. We got it, as soon as I learn.
Mike
FL18ParticipantSmart thinking Greg. Not only smart, but common sense right? I watched some guys install carpet in my neighbors house, but learned shortly after that they did a piss poor job.
FL18ParticipantThanks for your research on that Justin. I think that could have cost a lot of us some cash that could go into other forms of advertising or websites, etc..
FL18ParticipantSounds great guys. We’ll have to try it out. I know it’s been up for a while.
FL18ParticipantWe have a few apartment complexes that do this as a gift for renewal. The gift idea and comment card idea is great. Thanks for the info bro.
Mike
FL18Participantsorry dude
FL18Participantwow
that’s great. I think she is asking you to burnish. this is a form of polishing tile to restore a finish or to add a finish to the floor. That is what it sounds like to me.

FL18ParticipantSnow and rain tend to not really be a problem down here. But thanks for info.
