Maybe i can get a credit on the $1200…NJ05ParticipantTry The Property Managers in Your areas, you may have to take some jobs cheap to get in But it will get you jobs, I have found that realtors are as tight as a ducks you know what when it comes to spending thier money (commission) , However if you do a good job I find they pass your name on at least… The property Management side can be Tight as well but you will get some experience. It is the hardest thing out there to find what works for you in your areas…………….good luck………….

NJ05ParticipantI use a launromat almost 95% of the time eventhough we have the front loading Kenmore…the laundromat has the real deal and we don’t have other peoples…”soil” in our machine, they come out much cleaner as well.

REGARDLESS OF SIZE..A STEAM CLEANER CAME IN AND BID IT AT $18 A ROOM AND THEY CHANGED TO THEM …GO FIGURE…IT IS JUST AS WELL THEY HAD TONS OF STAIRS TO CLIMB,AND I AM A ONE MAN OPERATION. IT WAS A GREAT MONEY MAKER BUT A BUTT KICKER FOR ME SO IF YOU HAVE A YOUNGSTER TO DO THE CLIMBING OR BETTER YET ACCESS TO AN ELEVATOR IT WOULD BE A BIG HELP…NJ05ParticipantBERBER IS THE WORST, I NEVER TELL MY CUSTOMERS TO PURCHASE BERBER WHEN THEY ASK…NOW AS FAR AS HWE..DON’T DISCOUNT IT.
IT WORKS FAR BETTER THAN BONNET CLEANING IN SOME CASES (HEAVILY SOILED CARPET) IF YOU JUST USE BONNET CLEANING YOU WILL USE UP TONS OF TIME AND SOLUTION. THEY HAVE SOME GREAT TRUCK MOUNT EQUIPMENT ON THE MARKET THAT GETS CARPET DRY JUST AS QUICK AS BONNET CLEANING BUT IT IS BIG BUCKS!! DUAL PROCESS IS A GOOD TOOL TO HAVE. IN MY CASE I WOULD RATHER TURN DOWN A JOB THAT NEEDS DUAL PROCESS SO I CAN GET TO THE GOLF COURSE ON TIME. OH, I JUST LOST A GREAT COMMERCIAL ACCT. NJ05ParticipantYou don’t need a truck mount to do extraction. They have some great portables out there. I believe in some cases you need to extract then buff if you want to give your customers an honest and complete cleaning. It is also my belief that in certain cases it is faster and less labor intensive to extract. I know what you are thinking we are’nt soak and sucks but you can get those customers if you want . Here is another thought, 1 unit compared to 3 or 4…. what I mean by that is you extract you have that unit instead of a Vacuum then sprayer then buffer then rake. I have a customer who wanted extraction instead of our normal MO and it took me 1 hr less time for the same amount…she was happy as a pig in….well you the rest……..wow i have writers cramp now….
