KY13Participant
exactly its all about perception. i perceive it as included in our franchise fee while others might perceive it as a free service.
as far as not accepting the emails……that might be another option to consider…..give each operator the choice whether or not to accept them.KY13Participant1- ok enough of this “free service” talk.
ammon/dirtbag maybe you guys got your franchises for free, but i paid about $15,000 for mine
2- phone estimates-effective. email estimates-not effective. atleast thats what the general consensus seems to be……therefore the email option should be eliminated…..which would “force” the customer into a phone estimate…..which would give us a higher chance of booking the job……which would lead to more money in our pockets. same theory applies with including protectant in the pricing…..by eliminating customer choice for protectant, youre “forcing” them to pay for it wether they like it or not! sooooo by eliminating customer choice for an email estimate youre “forcing” them into a phone estimate.
3- true there are some people out there who would just prefer to not talk on the phone, but i’d rather sacrafice that one job to land seven more.
4- sorry if i came across as an a*s but i’m hungover and cranky.KY13Participantok moneybag……i mean dirtbag, maybe after being in business for as long as you have you can afford to lose 90% of a potential customer base. but i unfortunatley am not high and almighty like yourself; so forgive me if i’m not “delighted” with a 10% booking rate.
KY13Participantoh ok dirtbag i guess i’m just being greedy
❓KY13Participanti’m considering doing the same thing.
does anyone out there structure their pricing this way?
how’s it workin?KY13Participantemail estimates are ineffective for me as well…….
its too distant and impersonal. i find my strength is an actual conversation.
i hate it when they check email, because i know i only have about a 10% chance of booking the job. but like dave i always respect there wishes. i agree with everybody else………lets say farwell to the email optionKY13Participantlookin good. very simple but yet very professional looking.
KY13Participantsweet sounds amazing. too bad iphones arent in my area 🙁
KY13Participantcould fresh scent be used as a stand alone product for pet odor, bypassing our pet enzyme product?
KY13Participanttoo late. it’s gone. off to shop land. consensus seems to think its the flux capacitor. we’ll soon find out.
KY13Participanti’m having a hard time justifying ANY extra charges. none of my competitors charge anything extra. everything is all incuded. pet spots, red stain removal, moving furniture….EVERYTHING. Chemdry is the only one who charges extra for pet stain/odor removal. they charge a $75 flat fee to remove an unlimited amount of spots. anybody else out there noticing the same thing?
KY13Participantwell i’m taking it to the shop on monday. i’ll post the diagnosis when i find out.
KY13Participanti cried. but luckily the customer wasnt home to see that. when i called her she was very understanding and agreed to re-schedule. lets just say my two later appointments werent as forgiving. right now i’m just gettin by on cleaning upholstery. youre right, ultimate nightmare indeed. also my stair buffer is starting to fall apart on me and my vacuum is making funny noises. what the heck is goin on here!!!!!
KY13Participantguardsman is awsome. easy money and they pay quickly. $80-$120 for twenty minutes of work? cant go wrong. if youre not signed up with them, do it.
KY13Participantmy buffer just died on me a couple of days ago. right in the middle of a job. just stopped. dead as a doornail. got on the horn with john but we couldnt get the damn thing up and running.
now i have to take it to the repair shop………….arghhhhh!!!!!!!!!! 😡 -
