I have used tgp on small little wine spots that were more like splashes. I wonder what the tgp does to any fabric after 5 min meaning the glue and not starting to dissolve anything else. With the protector I have heard that that can work, but have never tried it.

Thanks Dave for answering that question. I guess I should of been more specific. I guess I meant that we clean fabric like this all the time and it didn’t seem to be extremely different. The good news is that it work. I didn’t use any heat at all just mixed some red dye together and let sit for about 15 minutes and the cleaned the whole stool so not to leave any water marks. At first it it didn’t seem to get it all out so I told the customer that was going to give it one more chance, but I wanted it totally dry before I tried again. I went out there the next morning and it was all gone. So I return the stool to the owner.

Great idea where do you get the plastic cards? Or does the head office have them I like the idea of the plastic cards. I think people are more likely to keep them than paper.

So here is the report I went there today to check it out. I couldn’t smell any orange deodorizer when I walked in. She then complained about the fresh scent smell and said the the orange deodorizer was gone. I flushed out some spots so that she would be happy just with water. Come to find out she watched her dad did from lung cancer and she is convinced that any chemical that gives off a smell will ultimately isn’t good for your lungs.

I believe if you look in the October newsletter it is in there on how to mix it. Maybe in September but I almost positive I’m right. I don’t know why they changed it I like the powder defoamer.

The thing that I don’t understand is that she had two people tell her to clean the carpet and one of those people was a tile installer and he said the his guys won’t want to work with the smell or urine. She is also having a room mate move in and he was sneezing I guess. So go figure. I do need to call her and follow up with her though. I report back and hopefully all is well.

If you bring pom poms you will also need the outfit. If we have that we also will need a camera and someone who has a user name for youtube. I will try the three times a year thing and maybe I can tell them that we will play it by ear. I can see cleaning the dining rooms in these buildings because some of the buildings are assisted living and that’s where all the residents eat. But the hallways not so much. Thanks again.

It was severe I recommended replacing the carpet or at least pulling it up and replacing pad. She didn’t want to do either. I used fresh scent and pet enzyme as well on the more severe spots. I will keep the final step in mind and if she wants me to come back and look at it I will report back. I have only had this happen one other time. I went back and didn’t smell any od on the couch that we cleaned I think that one was in her head.

Have you done the chew spot go and what did you use? I haven’t run into this that often knowingly.

I have heard that most brokers in my area have a 10K minimum or 10% of the sale whatever is greater. OUCH that hurts.

When my parents had the company the corporate had one of these. I remember playing with it. It would help for the big commercial jobs where the digitape doesn’t measure that far. If people are impressed with the little toys that we have. My thinking is use it. Craiglist and ebay are great things to get great deals.

WOW I didn’t expect this much response. Thanks I do plan on cleaning up the equipment, van, etc. The towel test is a great idea and know that I think about that it should be done after every job we do. Bryan to answer your question: They were thinking of still doing it themselves. They already have some little portables and some solution. But I asked them what to figure out what it cost them to clean, pay employees, insurance, etc. I said I would match that, but have it be a professional job and not done by the house keeping. They also were going to buy a HWE unit with 500 feet of hose and they already have a van. She still hasn’t given me that number, but when I gave her the proposal she said “I am surprisingly surprise”. That being a good thing. Still haven’t finalized a price though. I assume it will be around 50k a year though. I will let you all know what happens and what I learned.
Evan sure I would love for you to come, but only if you bring the music. ha ha Thanks again.

I would be interesting to see the results from the people who do it already. I sure Cody as looked in to it a little bit already. A few years ago I saw some commercials that corporate made up. The bigger we get or the more areas we cover the cheaper I assume it gets cheaper. More exposure the better right? As long as its good exposure. ha ha. It’s definitely worth looking into.
