When talking to military personnel they expect a person to be prepared and armed when they go to battle. It’s been nearly 2 weeks without one “Heaven’s Best letter of recommendation from a former military personnel”. So, I’m to go to battle with no ammunition and go it alone. Thanks for your support!!! You guys should be politicians! Do little to nothing and enjoy the harvest of others labor. Merry _______ Christmas.

So, I met with the local JTAP (the military guy responsible for helping solders getting out finding jobs/careers). Moving along smoothly. Tomorrow morning I talk with the regional JTAP. I hope to get connected to the national JTAP by the end of next week. This is only the National Guard. Each branch has their own personnel. So, Your help for info (above post) will be greatly appreciated.

If you as a state owner would ask all former military (in Heaven’s Best) to respond to the following:
How long have you been in business?
What would you recommend to someone (Officer or enlisted) getting out of (or no longer in) the service looking into Heaven’s Best?
How did serving in the armed forces prepare you for Heaven’s Best?

    And report this to Cody.
The few former military personnel in my states are doing very well. I think I am the only State Owner that has served after 1990. Therefore Cody & I are putting materials together that can be presented to potential personnel leaving the military.
I am asking for the $2,000 finder’s fee be dropped through this offer and the would be $2,000 finder’s fee be given to them in the form of a discount toward their purchase (minimum $14,450 down still required) as a “Thank you for your service”.
    Are you in?

Dennis to add to the list would be…
Continually increasing business year after year.
    Evaluation cards
    Positive attitude
Clean and neat in appearance (a look of perfectionism and confidence)
    They show up on time
    They do the “WOW” factors.

After posting, I mowed my acre property and therefore got sweep away in thought. I have a newer operator that is advertising through Groupon for 5 rooms carpet or hard wood floor for only $99. My thoughts to the neighboring operators is to say… “You only get what you pay for.” So, how much have state owners or operators ever paid for http://www.heavensbest.com? Like Ammon, I may in for some back lash.

City ez net operators are thrilled and pay $150 for their website plus franchise fees. How much are we willing to pay for a state owners website for sales plus our state owner advertising fees? If we aren’t willing to do for ourselves why are we questioning?

I love to piggy back with success. What has been done? Ron, I guess you’ve paid a lot for your sales website. How is that going for you?
Don’t misunderstand me. A awesome website would be helpful.
My main successes in the last 5 years have come from successful area operators referrals or from my personally owned areas. Only one has came from state owner advertising. (Many calls but only one sale)
Where are your successes coming from?
Where are you advertising? At what cost or what amount of time invested?

Comparing can be a slippery slope. Even within Heaven’s Best we have a wide range of best and “not so” best. The price a person is willing to pay is probably the real question. Oh, I have at least two operators getting half their business from their site (first position) and experiencing at least a 30% increase in business because they are doing what ez net has asked them to do to generate growth. Again, currently, zero complaints from operators.

Can ez net tools make an awesome site? I have no dought. What are we willing to pay for it?
Can we flood the internet with “Heavens Best” advertising? Absolutely. At what cost?

Ammon I fully agree with updating http://www.heavensbest.com and I think that is in the works. A flip side, eznettools is a million times better than the last one.
As far as operator’s website, out of my operators who have ez net (about 50% and increasing) I have heard no complaints about content, design, or price. I have heard some operators ecstatic about what ez net has done for their business.
Could the operators “cleaning” websites improve, sure. I know this…They love what they’re getting for the price.

The hot water extract method will leave a carpet stiff and crunchy. They are notorious for saying “Just vacuum when dry.” Detergent residue or soil residues combined with longer dry times are the leading causes. Answer #1! Use low moisture cleaning process! Answer #2! Add Orange Deodorant to cleaning solution! (One oz (OD) to a gallon (cleaner) at most and do not put through your power sprayer. Use an extra pad to absorb additional moisture before grooming carpet. Let us know how it goes!

Holy CRAP! How’d the end result turn out?
Did the neighbor pay the bill?
Did he have steak for a while?

    Yea, that’s definitely a new one…

So, Cody was right when he said five or six years ago “We need to sell new franchises or the franchise fees need to increase in order to keep the corporate office solvent”? As I remember,,,”With the majority of the increase going to the corporate office.” So 5-6 years later we’re still at the same place… “need to sell more franchises or increase the franchise fees”?
Does Cody have no choice but to raise franchise fees because state owners are not selling franchises? I need to do better. In the last 3 years I have only sold 5, IA 1,OK 1, and OR 3.
So, what can we do to sell more franchises?

Sorry to hear. Sounds like an untruthful, fraudulent, person to me. I’ve cleaned for a lot of city and county police. In my case I’d ask their opinion. It wont cost for their opinion. It’s maddening. You almost want to put a sign in their yard that says “This person is fraudulently dishonest.” There maybe a way to file “Theft of services”. You probably wont get a dime but you’d feel better if her name was in listed in the paper.

Okay, I’ll start the discussion with my thoughts. If I take arrows for this, well, so be it.
The cost of each area in your state will differ from state to state depending on how much you paid for it and how many total areas it has. If you have area not purchased by an operator, your currently not getting a (RIO) return on investment. That being said, I’ll get to the meat of it.
State Owner Profit from a first purchased area sale is $14,450 + $1,000 = $15,450 (minus your purchase cost for the area), plus $960 for the first 12 months plus order commissions.
So how much will you pay to get $28,940 to $38,540?

FIVE YEAR PROFIT explained(per sale) doing the math…
    1 franchise fee area, $28,940 = 15,450+ (960 + 1738* for all 5 yrs)
    2 franchise fees area $31,820 = 15,450 + 960 + 1738* for all 5 years + 960 (for yr 3,4,&5)
    3 franchise fees area $32,780 = 15,450 + 960 + 1738* for all 5 years+ 960 (yr 3,4,&5) + 960 (yr 5)
    4 franchise fees area $37,580 = 15,450 + 960 + 1738* for all 5 years + 960 (yr 2,3,4&5) + 960 (yr 34&5) + 960 (yr4&5)
    5 franchise fees area $38,540 = 15,450 + 960 + 1738* for all 5 years + 960 (yr 2,3,4&5) + 960 (yr 34&5) + 960 (yr4&5) + 960 (yr 5)
    * $1,738.38 = (my four states) 45,198 Profit from 2013 orders divided by 26 operators.

Are we really debating weather or not we are willing to pay $2k for operator referrals or $5k for an agent sale. I frankly don’t get it.
Before operators and agents question our leadership, judgement, and/or sanity. Let’s all agree on the commission we will pay and discuss how we can move the ball down the court. In other words, let’s find ways to make it easier to get a sale.
I suggest, as a start, making a quality flyer describing in detail, the purchase requirements, commissions, etc. Post it in the newsletter, bulletin board, put in the box of each corporate order, and remind our operators in our (state owner) correspondence! Please let’s continue discussing ways we can do this.

Photos, videos, and training… I feel it would be good to run a video (or phone recording) at each seminar, (during a longer break time) record operators comments on why they got into the business and/or recommend others to join. (Using a good background from a seminar looks more professional than someones home) Take the best 10 or so and run it continually in a side pocket of our home page of the website and in all possible websites viewed by potential buyers.
