When it comes to most furniture to be moved fine. I think we are all okay with that. When it comes to entertainment centers, piano’s, desks, filling cabinets, or china hutches, I say “my insurance does not cover that unless all things are removed from it”. So, I guess piano’s are out. I only charge what I clean. I give a discount if they remove all furniture in the areas to be cleaned. Any other suggestions?

    Sir Cody,
Do you have requirements for the incentives besides must be pressent to win, like name entered when monthly report is in on time each month etc? If you do have requirements are they stated to help motivate? If so when will they begin? (So I can make sure I win the new logo’ed van!)

So, these prices are derived primarly from compitition, time involved, experience, cost of operation, or amount of cleaning being done? Good looks?… customers or yours? How about some thoughts…

I’m not really sure where to post this. The other day I checked out the local DEALership and saw a full size GMC white cargo van. $28,887. It had tow package. It didn’t have Logo’s, a cage, shelves, racks, And it didn’t come from a DEALer in Rexburg, ID. all for only $21.600! I think this is a great deal at a lot less price and hassel. Thanks Cody. Of course if your the lucky winner in Jan 07 in Veges, it wont cost you a dime!

Once I agreed to try “welcome wagon” on a one month trial bases. They wanted me to advertise my most competitive rate becuse the house “would be empty”. Welcome wagon delivers the info two to six weeks after they move in. The trial ended and so did I with them. You really have to think things through. I wonder where some salesman learned there trait … Before, during, or after prison.

    Jamie, bubby o’l pal!

Just buy four vans! Ha Ha

Instead of An 800# get a call forwarding # for each area. Some call it a market exspantion line. Makes their local number call forwarding to your main line. Most places in cost $16 plus 3 cents a minite plus taxes billed monthly to your phone bill. If it’s long distance It’s the long distance fee and the 3 cents. It’s pretty inexpensive. The main thing is to have your customers call a local #. They feel good about that, far above (800) #’s When it came to carpet cleaners they mainly will call someone local. Many have gone out of business thinking a customer will call someone out of local area. You also get a listing in the local phone book. You can also list in your case, all four #’s in your adverising. It makes you look really big!

I thought that if I had personalilzed plates it would read “H BEST 1” One FOR OR01. If you have to ask what H BEST stands for, your in the wrong business…

If anything I would recommend corporate sharing TV ads (for example) with us from those who have gone that route. Maybe we could add a phone # and special if desired at the end of the ad, and WE STILL HAVE CONTROL in OUR area. It seems to be the best of both worlds. We pay only what we use and still have full control.

Thanks Josh! Congrads with that new baby! I hope you, Dyana, and baby Kohler are doing fine.

As far as sign o rama is concerned, we order the logo’s through Cody and sign o rama finds out which of their guys are closest and you then set up a time with them to get it done! yeppy!

My experience says if it’s really bad, 90% plus odor is in the pad and must be removed. Next check for odor under where the pad was. Replace floor and / or sub-floorif needed. If only a little bit use kilz on the floor (use resperator). If you don’t Know … you’ll find out. They make a kilz 2 which is water base but not near as good. Wait for kitz to dry, replace with new pad, treat the carpet again and and strech carpet back in place. CHARGE ACCORDINGLY! Repeat as needed! Hope they don’t sell the home to another dog owner and give you as a referal and say “they make things look like new”

Sorry, no elk for house pets in Oregon. Not yet. Maybe you can start a fad. At least the steak wouldn’t be wild! Pass the A-1 please!

Are we supposed to take advantage of the website as much as we take advantage of you or is it the other way around? We thank you John!

    Ammon, dude, right on!
I’ve had my new shirts for about a week. I’ve had at least one comment each day. Not one negitive word. It’s all been positive! It’s a good thing I didn’t wear shorts. My leggs look like milk jugs.
