    WARNING…
    I have a thought.

Could we do up a radio ad that the state owners could target areas with? Could we also look in to a catchy phone # like (800)GET-BEST or even 866# if needed, to have Dan’s # be? So for the ad to say “7th Year straight award winning Fastest growing carpet and & upholstery cleaning franchise in the world… Find out how you could be apart of this opertunity @ heavensbest.com Or (800)get-best…. Minimim 8 thousand start up cash needed.”

This is not a finished product but maybe a place to start. What’s your thoughts?

    John & Ammon,

Good to hear from you both. I was thinking the same but didn’t want to be the one to ask, 20 responses in Aug? in Sep?
I have reported to cody in an email about my 29! I will be paying about $3500 in motel incentives, lunches?, my plane $428. I know it will be worth it all and return me well. Has the travel arrangements been worked out from the motel to and from UNLV? Is that John carracter going to be a driver?????
One question asked by a few operators is, “how do we get from the airport to the motel? Is there a motel shuttle or do we get a cab?” My response was as time gets closer I’m sure this info will unfold.

    Mike,
I got my tickets from Southwest airlines. Non stop flight from Boise, ID for my wife and I for $428 included is tax and all expense. It’s good to pay for the fights during the good times, instead of Jan.

NOTE: I think motel reservations need to be make by the end of Sep. to receive the discounted price. (800) 937- 7777.

If you haven’t made your reservations yet, you might take some time before time runs out.

Ask if he could include a rider that would cover you or call another agent. If you need a big hammer don’t settle for screw driver. Sure you might think you are saving some money but you didn’t get what you needed. It might be worth it to check around to compare.

I’ve had some time to conceder the BMW give away. Maybe I’ll give it away in Vegas. Maybe I won’t. However, you must still be present to win! I must say, being pressent at the seminar will make us all winners! One way or the other.

    Gary,

Yes, we buy from Rexburg, ID, just like our contract said to. How long have you used you oreck oscillating stair buffer? At first I didn’t care for it much, but after a few uses I was hooked. Sometimes you still need to clean by hand, and there have been times I went over it twice with the oreck (with a 2nd pad) and called it good. The more I’ve used it the more I like it.

    Andrew,

Sounds like your doing great. Notice the upholstery and give a bid if time permits or to schedule for another time. If you have time, you might offer a discounted price to do upholstery or hard wood floor while your there. It sounds as though you have most things covered.

There are new members of club heaven’s best that want and need to read your story of how and what you did to become a success. Most all of you are successful if not very successful. How about it? What’s your story?

    Dear Ron;
Talk with him about hiring on commission only. There seems to be alot of elderly females (seasoned citizens) who have alot of time to watch Opra. Give them a chance to get paid not to. Many are of good mind that can do the job well. Have him check his custumer list for any such person. Next check with the (un)employment office. He has got to know that his income and ability to pay this family bills depend on it.
It doesn’t have to be a female, but I feel it helps if it is not the owner/operator. Just anyone intergetic. A person confined to a wheel chair for example. There are so many to choose from.

My point is an answering machine is only good for a few things, screening salesman, state owners, etc. Most loyal devoted customers will leave a message but most everyone else will call someone else. We need a live body answering the phone.

If he does’t understand how important that is, he needs to sell while there is still something to sell. Sad but true.

And yes, My wife or I answer it most of the time, and try to return the messages ASAP. (as soon as (heavenly) posible)

Dave liability insurance is what your required to have for the business, as stated in your contract. You should be able to get it included as a package. Are you talking personal hospital coverage if grown up bam bam bubba uses the buffer on you because his wife without teeth thinks your cute?

I love my stair buffer. Sometimes I go over it twice (using another pad). I liken it to the microwave, once you learn to use it, it’s hard to go with out it.
