    Brian!
I Love it. It was … charming!
    Just having some fun.
He is right, how we treat our customers is the most important. Devoloping the reputation of being the “Best in the Business at a fair price” is the wind in your sail (sale). The satisfied customer makes the wind. How you conduct your business (reputation) is your sail. Based upon your reputation, let your customer be your sale(sail)sman, for future satisfied customers. Without the sail the wind can’t get you where you want to go. The best sales gemicks still are only temperary. The foundation and future of your business is customer service.

After re-reading the posts, I think it is only goodwill for the selling state owner to pay the referral fee to who ever has earned it.

I would unconditionally be glad to write checks morning, noon, and evening to a salesperson whom I could pay only 6.45 percent of the profit to, for a good referral’ed purchase!

    –Change of subject–

Cash purchase = cash to referral
payment plan = payment to referral?

I understand, I think. Helping agreed. Without knowing any of the situation, this seems logical to me… If a state owner spent time, effort, and/or money in CREATING the buyer (as in the referral orginated from their efforts) I feel they should be rewarded for their hard work and diligence, because without them the purchase wouldn’t have happened. A purchase came as a result of a referral, reward the referral’er. (If it’s true english or not) It is a way of rewarding efforts and incouraging more sales.
    Am I missing something?

To clarify, A refferral is from an individual. A refferral fee should be given to anyone who produces a good franchise sale. (Even Peter, Paul, & Mary) If an operator in one of my states gives a refferral that leads to a sale in another state, the operator should receive $1000. I don’t feel as a State Owner I should receive a dime. It was not my refferral.
    Just my 2 cents.

I think once a month is good.

I all so feel that an agenda before or a summary after would be great! I said very little and took allot of notes. What good is learning and talking without doing. If there was an agenda sent in an email, less notes would have to be taken. Since improvement and greater success is the goal, a summary would remind us of areas we personally feel we need to focus-on for improvement.

    Both of you are right.

Brand-X uses an RX20 (rotary extraction) (a lot heavier than a buffer and are awkward to use in comparison)

After the extraction, using pads seldom if ever, dry the carpet like the low moisture only process does.

They can do a dual process and are supposed to, but rarely do because of the additional time involved. Not only in cleaning but also the time involved with two sets of equipment- in & out of the van. (not very productive for the $ return)

More than likely it was wicking.

That is a good question for your phone company.

“And why am I paying extra for a service that isn’t working properly? And what can you do to fix it?”

    Good points and bad points…

    Good: to have more choices.
Bad: the more credit inquiries in a short time span will lower the credit score.

It would be good to have a finance company for the good and another for the best.
Have them do their own credit check before we direct them to the good or better one. If they request a credit score for themself, it doesn’t count as an inquiry on their credit.

    Sure,
While in the Navy, we came up with the meaning for the letters in the word NAVY.

    N ever
    A gain
    V olunteer
    Y ourself

If you went to boot camp, you would totally understand the meaning of the word “volunteer”.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed my stay in the military.
It’s was a time in our lives when we got creative.

    Artic Circle= A C greasy
    A&W= air & water
Coast to coast= gross to gross
    most I can’t remember

It was a time to have a little fun while most all the other time had to be very serious.

Congratulations on nailing the 600 rentals!

She can’t have you clean her place for free. She would lose her job. The military would consider it a bribe. Just like DB said.
I’m an old salt from the N.A.V.Y. Never Again Volunteer Yourself. Make copies of your letters of recommendation, before and after pichures, copy of serveral evaluation cards. She more than likely has had no experience with low moisture cleaning and just needs to develope some confidence. Write up a letter explaining we are an international franchise and present it to her with the introduction brochure. It’s a good start.

I think this is a good example of…

    NEGITIVITY DESTROYS CREATIVITY.

    I’m done with sharing ideas.
