In the newsletter coming out in Oct or Nov 2008, Corporate will outline one more reason it has never been better to be Heaven’s Best! Tandus Carpet is one of the largest, if not the largest maker of commercial carpet! Remember the name “Tandus”, it is about to be music to the ears and the check book! If things unfold the way I think they will, you might consider adding a few employees!

It could get very interesting if they have carpets made by Tandus Corporation.

    Brian,
You do a great job. Thanks for your input. I thought you walked through the door in to the church, and say “my sins can’t be confessed unless the carpets are clean! And I have a lot of sins that need confessing! Who is in charge of the hiring of the carpet & upholstery cleaning?” That’s how I got all the churches I clean for! “Cleanliness is next to Godliness, who could deliver better than Heaven’s Best?”
If want any more bad jokes just call John at corporate! (800)555-haha

Is it true… coffee and red dye continue to work after leaving?
Red dye, Yes! Coffee not sure.
I have gone back to jobs 6-9 months later, (more than one) where the area exposed to sun light continued to work after I left. even to the point that I could find it.
    …it is true!

    Thanks Kurt;
Except for a very generic book, Yellow Book in Eastern Oregon is the least used book. I trust phone book sales people like I trust the weatherman…

Kurt, it goes back to what are you selling?
In todays time the cheepest is going out of business.

“I am the most humble top quatily carpet cleaner you will ever meet! My prices are humble and my quality is tops!”

“If all you are looking for is a cheep take the dust of the top cleaner, I respectfully ask you to call another cleaner, but if your looking for a top quaity cleaning at a far price, you’ve called the right place!”

Hope you feel comfortable with one of these. Truly you are looking for the best customers (the ones that want the best.)( As well as the ones that tell everyone they found the best!) The very best combo!

Ron, I think most of us in the past have been giving a gallon of cleaner. So I think $100 is not “to low.” Once I sent $50 to “buy dinner for two.”(ride along operator was out of my state, couldn’t send a $50 gallon of cleaner) $50 cleaner at time of ride along.

Dave, Cleaned several times. (Passed once, heavy smoke smell & thick yellowing). I charged going hourly rate. At the time $50 an hour (More now). They cleaned up quite easy. Mostly dusty.

When they asked how much, I said my rate. Said I only did quality work at a fair price, when do you need it Done? Booked and cleaned. Another happy satisfied customer!

One important thing employers overlook is to “ask” the employee. Ask what their needs or wants are.
One wants little to no pay and wants benifits. (health ins., membership at the authletic club, $50 certificate at grocery store, dinner for two, etc.)
Another says “my spouse has great ins., I want the cash!”
A retired empolyee can’t make over a certin amount before it affects their social in-security check.

My personal employee, wanted the $$$, he got paid 10% regular pay, with an additional 15% bonus for maintaining a 95+% customer satisfaction rate!
I wanted to keep the employee doing 95% (or higher) satisfaction rate, and he wanted the dollars. It was a win win until his wife wanted to be closer to family and he was hired to be a coach & teacher three hours away. (His football team took state last year!)

So, my recommendation would be to ask the employee.
    Other thoughts welcome.

Ditto… It’s like taking the time to sharpen the saw blade. It saves time and effort! Thanks Brian for the reminder.

My experience has been, fresh scent is more about air born odors and therefore, pet enzyme is needed to eliminate the source of the pet odor problems.
