Most of you will say word of mouth is the best for of advertising and I agree but what other ideas or forms of advertising works best for you. Especially in a population of 150,000 or more, like us.

As far as what works best for us is the Dex Yellow Book. This is what works best for us as far as advertising that we spend money on. We are the first ad so that helps of course. Our population is about 130,000 I think Phone book should be a choice on the list.
Ofcourse phone book should be a choice on the list. I can’t believe I forgot to put it in there.

Not just the phone book…but prominently in the YP and with your photo as well…don’t make them have to squint to find you.
I agree with all of the above. Adverting is not just one thing, it’s a whole bunch of things . . . van, yellow pages, flyers, etc. All add to visibility and image. We like to do timely (March, May, & Sept.) newspaper ads as well. All of our ads have: A special, Dry In One our, our Logo, and our picture. It always runs 3 days (Tues, Thurs, Sat.) and goes to about 100,000 homes.
