It has been 9 weeks since I ordered my van, still patiently waiting. I like the fact that I am starting to hear good things about SAR. It kind of makes the wait for the van a little easier.
My current van is a 98 Dodge with only 78000 miles on it.(all paid for) I was thinking of keeping it and setting it up for hardwood floors and Tile and grout cleaning. I do seem to get my share of calls for tile cleaning only.
Has anyone done this? if so how about some feed back. By the way I will have a full time employee this spring! 😀Check out the tile and grout section of bulletin board for info on the tile. As far as sending the van out for a specific purpose—Why not? I think, in the near future for us as well, that designating a certain van, with employees, for a certain purpose–i.e. tile and hardwood–is not a bad idea. You can keep your equipment a little more organized you know, unless you plan on offering up a tile clean, or hardwood wax, on top of cleaning the carpet at the time of your appointment with customer. If it were me, I would have a schedule for tile and grout/hardwood, and carpet seperate. Let’s see how many disagree on this one. I know of 3 or 4 usual posters who will. Anyway, hope all is well.

If the demand for t/g & hardwood is high enough, it would work to have a separate van designated for that purpose only. However, an increase in overhead is a factor. I don’t believe my location would support this idea.
