Would love to hear some feedback on your method of removing pet hair from upholstery.
Does anyone have a “miracle” product that they discovered?

No magic here, but I like to wet a towel and aggressively rub the upholstery with it. I do that in conjunction with the power of the u-mate and this helps a lot. Then clean as normal . . . spray, scrub with brush and extract. I don’t, but probably should charge for excessive hair.

I agree with Brian. Wet towel probably works the best (good for hair covered stair risers too). Can also use the Hoover Port-o-vac attachments. The one with the red rubber bristles does ok for pet hair. Have tried a couple of the “miracle” products you see at stores/TV, but never been impressed by any of them. We have a black brush that has rubber bristles that does ok. It is more or less just a bigger version of the Hoover attachment.

Try using a rubber pet brush, it will remove most of the fur. (static does wonders!)

I’ve tried using the rubber brush with limited success. Are you doing this on wet or dry upholstery?

I am a new operator in NC, I was reading some old posts about removing pet hair from upholstery and was there a miracle product that worked. Well yes there is!!!!
it is a brush like product, usually a black handle and a red head. It is made by Evercare and you find it with the mops and brooms at Walmart or Target, it is approx $5. Brush in one direction to get all the pet hair off furniture, wipe in other direction and pet hair comes of the brush. Thanks for all these great posts it really helps new operators.
