Anyone having a problem with the pet enzyme going bad? It seems like after a month or so it starts letting off a HORRID odor. Been having this problem for years. Corporate suggested immediately mixing with water upon arrival, but that still has not solved the issue. Opened up a 2 1/2 gallon jug of pet enzyme that was sitting around for about a month and almost died. Smelt like curdled milk.

I’m no help. I have never had an issue.

Because you said it was in 2 1/2 gallon jug, I assume you must be mixing it with water well in advance of using it. Might that be the cause? I mix it only when I need it.

When I spoke with Cody about the situation, he advised mixing ASAP. He actually advised against mixing as needed.

I was at training this last week with Shane an awesome new owner from Texas. I learned that the Pet Enzyme should be mixed in the two and one half gallon jug, that it has a long shelf life (unlike the past one). Mixing it all when you get it is good because if you mix it as you need it you’ll get mixed reviews because it separates giving you inconstancy in effectiveness. It has a long shelf life, that”s why we can mix and sell to the customer.
