How long is the wait time for a new buffer order? Last time I knew it was about three weeks. I thought about buying a new one in the spring. However I have a 24 Hr job in two weeks. Is it possible to get a new one in two weeks? (without driving to the factory?)
The shipping time varies depending on the time of the year and the inventory levels of the factory. Near the end of the year a lot of factories will reduce their inventory levels so a few days may need to be added for production. Holidays can affect shipping times as well. Thanksgiving Day is always the 4th Thursday in November. Some companies let their employees off at noon on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the entire day Friday after Thanksgiving. Some factories will close the entire week of Thanksgiving. Some factories close a few days before Christmas and do not open again until after New Years Day. Normal shipping time for a buffer is about two weeks for most of our locations.
