Basic question from a newbie – what is the proper way to mix the Woodstain remover? Every time I mix it I get a pretty serious chemical reaction. I must be doing something wrong. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

Mix equal parts of each. Are both part wood stain remover? What is the serious reaction? Please explain.

The reaction is a popping sound (small explosion may be too strong of a description) when the second part is added followed by a large puff of smoke/vapor that is noxious to breath (don’t ask).

I wouldn’t think this is normal

I’ve never had that happen. Doesnt sound right. Maybe you recieved a mislabeled bottle. If you haven’t contacted the home office I suggest you do and do not use the product. Do you have another set of bottles to test if those react the same?

No I only have the initial set I received. I will contact the home office tomorrow. To be honest I don’t feel real comfortable mixing it anymore. But it seems like a good product when needed so I hope to get it figured out. Thanks four your input.

    Stay safe
