I normally only buy 4 gals. of 101 at a time but recently had an order of 8 gals. come in. When the product is shipped, it comes in a paste form and we then add water to make 1 gal. of concentrate. You may sometimes find that after the mixed gallon sets for a few hours, a thicker product tends to seperate and float to the top. What happens is there is too much paste in the jug for the water to totally suspend the product. What you can do at this point is to shake the jug and pour approx. a cup out of the jug and then refill w/ water. Then let the full gallon of 101 concentrate set for a few more hours to see if it stays suspended. If it seperates again, remove another cup and refill with water. I did this w/ my 8 gallons, removing 2 cups(16 ozs.) from each. 16ozs. x 8 jugs = 128 ozs.(1 gal.) and ended up with 9 gallons. $60 for free!

I wonder if you could retire any earlier by taking 3 cups out? or 4?

I think I read about this on one of the newsletters, and for the life of me can’t remember which one. Could have been a previous posting or something. Good to know. Thanks guys.

I know but I was referring to what Brian was saying about “mixing” the 101. I did read that somewhere. I usually do use a cup and half and then I also pour a cup of water back into the bottle. Seems to work just fine.
