Bryan Ferris had a good tip for repairing scratches on your buffer by using a torch. I tried it and it worked great. If you want to make your vacs and buffers shine, try spraying 1 light coat of clear satin aerosal lacquer over the plastic parts only, not the chrome pieces though. Typically you should wipe off all paint, scuff marks, etc. before you top coat with the lacquer, denatured alcohol works awesome for that. It will look like new again if you combine these tips with the Ferris tip. You can probably find the aerosol lacquer and denatured alcohol at Lowes, Ace, etc.

Great tip Joel, Thanks. As a safety precaution, keep the chemicals and the torch away from each other. “SAFETY FIRST”
