I have a customer that keeps spilling coffee from a Keurig coffee maker(donut shop brand) and I’m having no luck getting the stains out. The first couple stains were on carpet they are replacing so no big deal but this last week it was in their bedroom which is white carpet and to boot a million dollar home. I went over the day it happened and saturated the spot with coffee remover and waited 15 minutes and then extracted. It lightened it but still very noticeable on white carpet. I told them to let it dry and I would come back in a week or so and work on it some more. I talked with John and he said coffee remover and heat might do it, also might try dye remover if that doesn’t work. Just thought I would see if there are any other suggestions. The coffee was black with nothing in it. Seems to me these Keurig coffees are harder to get out than normal coffee as I’ve never had problems with coffee stains before. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have had some success with FAE.

How about trying wood stain remover with with steam heat. This sometimes works for me when I have exhausted all other alternatives.

You didn’t say what color of carpet you were working with . . . guessing light colored like off white or in that family of colors. I agree with all of the above. The other offering I have is de-color. It’s in our carpet dying kits. I would do this under a controlled situation. Apply a very small amount on a very small area. Leave on only long enough for it to do it’s work, then rinse and extract. If it works on the small area, then proceed to the rest of the stain. Good luck.
