Ink removal gone wrong apparently. Last week, i removed several ink stains using ink remover. There were no indications of any problems, but the customer contacted me this morning with the first picture. The second picture is one I took after rinsing with 101 and then with Baking Soda/Water (hoping that a ph switch would resolve the problem). Is there anything that will fix this besides spot dyeing or bonded insert? I have no idea why it has a distinct shape. There was nothing there and they said that nothing had been there.

I’ve had to go back before to remove a second time. Always rinse well, and EXTRACT with the upholstery mate. Manytimes it looks great when you leave but will wick up as it drys. To avoid this, use the upholstery mate step. Check with John at corporate.
