With all the “crap” going on in today’s world has anyone come up with a plan to pay for their health care insurance being an owner/operator of your own business?

    I have blue cross/blue shield. Think I’m paying around $140 a month.

I feel your pain. I have an HSA (health savings account) plan. It went from $522 a month to $988 starting January. 🙁 Some option items better, some worse. It’s about the same for a lot more. Maybe it’s because I’m an old dude.

Mine is jumping an additional 20% after the first of the year. I’ve looked for lower cost with same benefits and deductibles but unfortunately all are significantly higher.

My premium is going up 12% in 2016. My corporation pays my premium, however, the law states that anyone who owns 2% or more of an S-corp and the corp pays their insurance premium they must include their premium as W-2 income and pay taxes accordingly. (Thank you BHO!!) This means the government bestowed on me the honor of paying an additional $1000 in taxes. It is just not right!!
