I have never heard of them, and to me, that seems a little pricey. How do they determine what is a $20 lead and what is a $75 lead? Size of job? That can change pretty quickly. If a lead is a “$75” lead and ends up being a job that would originally be a “$20”, do they credit you? I would pass on that one. Just my opinion.

I would run from this one . . . if you land a $200 job, that’s 38% right off the top. Take your gas, product and the rest of the overhead out and you end up working for nearly nothing!

I am down to name and number in 2 books and plan to drop them both once the current listings are up. The yellow pages are dead, in some cities they are even trying to ban them. You not only need to go after the internet but you need to be aggressive. One of the newest things I am doing is landmark targeting seo. Pick a few of the major landmarks of your service area and incorporate them into some article marketing. For example I use the Seattle Space Needle and the Tacoma Glass Museum. Write a short article on how to remove X stain form an area rug and use an example of cleaning near the landmark. This is a great way to build related links without using the typical city name and over time this will give you a ranking boost. Another idea I am testing is Zip codes. Not many people search for carpet cleaning by zip code but Google knows what zip codes are related to a specific city so it is my belief that it will help improve the ranking.
