I seem to be struggling with Frieze carpet lately. Any suggestions/opinions/advice?

Is that the long nap carpet? If so I have a hard time getting “deep” stains out as well. It seems to hold onto the stain more than a short nap.

😀 frieze comes in long, short, medium.it is called a freize because of its twist in the yarn.i must say this is my favorite to clean.as long as it is not the long shag type, which i hardly ever run across.most freize carpet is upper end in price so it has good stain protection built in.use the napper and move the buffer in a circle.works great.

We find that if this carpet is at all matted down, you will not remove all the loose soil vacuuming. I would recommend raking the carpet, especially the high traffic areas, before vacuuming. Also, take your time vacuuming and make sure you are getting air flow under the vacuum for suction (i.e. don’t put the bar on the lowest level). If you use the dirt napper, which works well on this carpet, you may want to keep the vacuum handy as you may dig up some stuff that will require another pass with the vacuum.
