I was taught to use a finishing towel by placing the pad in the center of the towel and folding all four corners up. This creates folds in the towel causing the buffer to wobble. If you place the pad near one end of the towel, fold the two short corners up and then fold the large side straight up without lapping the small corners, you will reduce the wobble. The other advantage is you use more area of the towel, increasing the life of the towel.

i too love the woven turf pads . they “hold” a lot of moisture and soil . i feel like they hold much more than any other pad that HB carries!

I like the micro fiber pad. Even though it’s hard to see the dirt, it cleans well. I always use the micro fiber pad followed by the woven turf. The dirt napper with the green strip pad comes in a close second.

I agree. I like the micro fiber pad. I usually do a 1-2-3 punch. BBC followed by a micro fiber followed by a towel…..the 1-2-3 punch.

All of the pads we use have a purpose. It is good to use a combination of all our pads rather than just using one type.
