I know a lot of us have facebook pages for social marketing and a lot of times they get forgotten about, but facebook just made a big change that you might want to take a look at. With the new “timeline” layout came cover photos. Basically the look of your facebook page changed on March 30th without you doing anything. You now have a large area (851px X 315px) that could be a great banner at the top of your facebook page. There are guidelines with how to use it (what you can say on it), but it can really be a great tool for your facebook presence.

Also, since we are on the topic…..anyone have a success story with using facebook? We’re at 73 fans and I don’t know that it is doing a lot for us. I’d love to hear if anyone has really capitalized on it. Do you get new leads or engage your current fans for new jobs? I see other businesses that really use it effectively but the main good we get out of it, is that it ranks pretty well on google and is another link pointing to our main website.
