Consumer Reports rates detergents and vacuums

Just an FYI, the latest Consumer Reports (Oct. 2005) rates laundry detergents. It rated the Tide with bleach (powder) as the best at cleaning, but rated a Costco brand as the best value. Also, it has ratings for vacuum cleaners. If your customers are anything like ours, I’m sure you get asked all the time about what vacuum you recommend. We usually keep a couple copies of the Consumer Reports ratings to give to them when they ask. Not saying I totally trust their ratings, but it definitely is better than nothing. As we all know, the number one response to the best vacuum cleaner is the one that gets used!
