looking to purchase new vacuum. Wondering how operators like the Insight over the Conquest or vice versa? Pros and Cons.

The insight is a nice vacuum for home but for what we encounter on a regular basis I would go with the conquest.
I second the (made for commercial use) conquest. I know they sold insight for a short time after the Chinese bought Hoover. I ordered a replacement bag during that time and the two bolts on the bottom of the bag to attach to the vacuum, well, one was the correct size 🙂 and the other was to small :(. I think Cody went back to the Hoover after Hoover got it’s act together again. Therefore the question. Does corporate still sell the insight?
Every carpet cleaning franchise I know of (Chem-Day included), all use the Conquest.
Some of the Operators that have the insight really like it. Others prefer the Conquest. Hoover did move the production of the Conquest back to the United States, and they have been working well. However, the conquest has been on a back order situation for months. Hoover tells us they have a tooling issue and they are not sure when the Conquest will be available. In the mean time all we have available is the Insight.
