I was wondering what is the best way to wash pads. I do use the laundromat, but was wondering if i should be using hot or cold water, lot/not a lot of detergent, bleach……I do get them clean just wondering the best way to maximize there lifespan.

I get the best results using Tide detergent with a bit of bleach in a front loading washer. The top loading agitator style washers tend to tear the pads up which results in additional pilling and excessive wear on the pads.

Agreed. The pads and towels will last a lot longer if you use the color-fast bleach instead of regular bleach. It still has the sanitizing effect.
