I have a micro fiber couch and love seat scheduled for next week. Any do’s and don’ts I should be aware of?
I cleaned a couch and love seat of the same fiber just yesterday. Cleans very easy, in fact, this one had food, a half mile of ball point pen marks, beverages of all variaties, and lord knows what else. Looked brand new when I got done. Don’t be afraid to scrub. You don’t need a ton of solution. Take your time extracting as it seems to like to hang on to the moisture.
P.S. Sell protector on it even though it really does’nt need it.
In my experience, some micro fibers clean up great, others don’t. Like everything, just depends on the soil level and the color. I have had to use a lot of solution on some micro fibers to get them clean. Agree that you sometimes have to use a little elbow grease, especially on the crusty food spots. Also, you may want to use a pre-spray if the furniture is heavily soiled. Make sure to brush them when you’re finished. Sometimes you may have to brush against the grain, and then back with it to get the pile looking good.
