Just curious what, where and how people are listing their additional services on their vans. This is the cheapest form of advertising we have and I want customers (existing and prospective) to know that we do more than carpet cleaning. The van is just one of the many ways to get out there that we do upholstery, hardwood, and tile/grout. If you are listing this on your van, where are you doing it at? Driver/passenger door? Back windows? Other? What services are you listing? All of them? All but carpet cleaning since it’s already on van? If you list carpet cleaning, do you just put “Carpet Cleaning”, or do you put “Residential & Commercial”? I want to get as much on there as possible without cluttering the van and taking away from the clean look we have. I don’t want to be that van you see that has 15 things listed on the side and loses its message in the jumble of words. Also, is there a corporate set standard for how we should be listing these and specifically where on the van? I thought there was, but I can’t find it anywhere on the website other than the wording/phrases we are allowed to use listed in the advertising section. Any advice/insight is appreciated. Pics of what you did are even better!

From what I can tell I get at least one job a month from the van wrap and I currently just have the standard Heaven’s Best package and 3 phone numbers plus my local website url listed. After driving around the past couple of years and really looking at wraps I think it is best to keep it to a minimum so in the future I am going to put just one phone number and url. If you have an easy to remember url that is all the customer needs and they can learn about the other services you offer from it.

    My thoughts:
If it’s the side of the van, treat it like a billboard. Use 7 words or less. Any one that sees the side of your van won’t have much time to see it. Since you’ll be driving by, going to your next commercial cleaning job. 🙂

If it’s the back of the van, most people reading this are going to be sitting behind you at stop signs, stop lights, etc. They will have a little more time.
