Welcome to August!
Good morning everyone,
Looking at the orders, it looks like a lot of you have had a very busy summer.
As the summer winds down, I would be very mindful of the kids going back to school, and the opportunities that are there for the moms to be ready to get the house cleaned once again, which will lead us into the fall cleaning up through the holidays.
Again, as we are getting busy, we would certainly encourage you to look at your storefront. The new van wrap is certainly doing well from an advertising perspective, and if you look at the investment over a roughly 5-year span, it will certainly more than be covered by the benefit that you will enjoy.
Another new way of generating revenue is GOOGLE LOCAL SERVICE ADS. This has been phenomenal for some of the individuals that have already signed up. As you’ll see here, Dan Child, one of the owners (but operates a franchise system in Sacramento, California) sent this out to all of his franchisees. It’s not going to be in everyone’s area yet as it still being rolled out, but it looks like it could be somewhat of a game-changer to help you folks.
“Dear California Franchise Owners,
I hope everyone is doing well and getting busier with the change of weather. Google has a new advertising campaign that is called Google Local Service Ads, which is pay per call instead of pay per click. Google does a free background check and verifies each business insurance and license. This new service is getting greater exposure and pops up on the side advertising the business that is Google Certified. Their contact number is 1-833-272-1444. You can also access it online, but it is easier to let a representative walk you through it.
An advantage of this service is you can narrow the exposure to a specific area, so that you are not paying for leads outside your area. Plan on setting your budget high, for example, mine is set at $400 per week. I only paid $66.00 my first week and was able to book 6 jobs. You will have an app on your phone that you will be able to monitor it daily. My son in Long Beach had his budget set at $700 per week, but only used 25% of his budget and was able to book the majority of the leads. There is an advantage to setting the budget high to get the most exposure, but you can decrease the budget at anytime”
We will be sending out mass emails over the next month, and will be finalizing two dates after Labor Day to be doing a national call, so please be mindful of reading your emails.
EZ Local continues to do phenomenal work, and the results have been speaking for themselves. We would encourage you to look at your URL for your website to see what domain it is resting under, if it is not under HeavensBest.com, you could have the potential for some visibility issues and you could be allowing your website to be creating a foundation that is not the best for your business. If you have any questions, I would encourage you to please reach out.
We are about 99% done with the backend, which should create only one log-in to complete your order and your monthly report, allow you to look at the bulletin board, and use HeavensBestads.com. We apologize for the length of time that this took, but with what happened with the store at the beginning of the year, we sought out (after talking to numerous people) an IT company that was very proficient in everything that we need, and has rectified multiple multiple situations. Your communication with Heavens Best made that much easier.
As we continue to advertise, and as we have stated in the past, most of our franchisees have come from referrals from you all. Those are great referrals because they are normally customers, or friends, or family, and that is why we would like to remind you the increase in the referral fee if you refer somebody to Heavens Best
In closing, I wanted to say thank you for all that donated to Tony Gibbons, who was tragically killed in a motor vehicle accident a couple of months back, as we at corporate have more than matched the donation, we hope that in giving this to his wife, that the family will feel our sorrow and gratitude for Tony.
As I stated last month, the franchise advisory board is getting very close to starting up, and with the help of the board, we will be looking at new equipment. Some of you have pointed out specifics in different specialized spot treatments, i.e. pet enzyme, as one of them. I have also talked to Sanitaire about partnering up with them, as there have been many recommendations from you about the quality of their vacuums. I have visited and have met with other equipment manufacturers, and will be having the advisory board potentially look at these pieces of equipment for you all.
In closing, I would like to say that we appreciate all of you. We appreciate your hard work, and we wish you great success in your partnership with us. Please reach out to me if there’s anything that we can do more.
