DISINFECTANT AVAILABLE

As an FYI, we have received a tremendous amount of Disinfectant, and I have increased the maximum amount per order to 10.

Please look at your billing statements, as previously announced that in conjunction with our partner EZ Local, you will see a 50% reduction in your total bill with them for April and May.  If you’re not happy with your current provider, now would be a good time to think about switching.

SERVICEMONSTER

If you are a customer of theirs, you really should be using their services to the full potential right now as far as mass emails. I had put it in a previous email and we still have calls to the office asking about it.

MONTHLY REPORTS

PLEASE START PUTTING IN YOUR MONTHLY REPORTS IF YOU ARE BEHIND. This gives us an idea of how things are out there in comparison to the orders being placed. If you are having trouble, please email me and Linda SPECIFICS so we can have IT look it over.

FLOOR MATS

The Floor mats will be in Rexburg this coming week, and I think will be a very
nice addition to put your equipment on. We do have new items being put on the store as well. It might be a good time to just look around to see the new additions.

HAND SANITIZER

Recently I posted on the FB Owners Group page about Hand Sanitizer, both unlabeled for your van and logoed to give to customers, and would really like to know how many of you would order this product and maybe how much. These will be arriving in Rexburg within 2 weeks. These are a 2oz bottle. Plain around $4.00, and labeled $7.00.

FACEMASKS

Facemasks will be arriving in Rexburg within a week for you to order with a quantity of 5 MAX (for now)

TUMBLERS AND COOLERS

We have added some RTIC Tumblers and Coolers to the store as well. Be sure to check these awesome new items out!

I was talking to a Franchisee recently, and this person asked how concerned I was about the situation going on. I can tell you that I am very concerned about this situation, BUT will remain hopeful and positive and do anything I can to assist you. We will continue to look for anything out there that will assist you from a cleaning standpoint, and any information we can find from a financial standpoint. My thoughts will remain that, as a team, we can weather this storm together and come out of this busier than you’ve ever been before when it all opens up again.

I know that the employees at Corporate are doing their best to support all of you and are very mindful of the situation going on.

A great big shout out to Bill, Dick, Linda, and John, as on Thursday we received the shipment of Disinfectant, and Linda and John went up and helped mix label and pour approximately 1000 quarts for all of you for your upcoming orders.

PPE

Please remember if you are out there cleaning please use your PPE !!!!!!!
Please continue to monitor the CDC website for changes as we all know this situation is very fluid.

EZLocal

Here at EZlocal, we know there is a lot of uncertainty around the COVID-19 outbreak and the potential effects it may have on you and your business. We are committed to providing you support in any way we can during these challenging times.

Here are 5 steps you can take today:

1. Keep yourself, and your employees, safe and informed.

Stay up to date by following official sources like the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), and your local government health department so you can respond quickly to changes that could affect your business.

2. Prepare a customer service plan.

In order to be responsive and transparent with your customers, prepare for incoming questions and requests. Consider drafting response templates for your emails or set up instant-reply messages with information you expect your customers will be looking for.

3. Update your website with a special COVID-19 message

Add a custom COVID-19 related message to your homepage – anything you feel is important to communicate to your customers. You can also add to your FAQ page if you need to address common questions regarding how your business practices are adapting to restrictions due to COVID-19. We’re ready to assist!

Here is an example homepage update: https://folsomca.heavensbest.com/

4. Get in touch with your customers.

Proactively share important information with your customers via email, your website, Google My Business listing, Facebook Page, Twitter, or however you typically connect. You might include information about the measures you’re taking to make your premises or services safe, or how you will handle customer inquiries or appointments if there are expected delays.

Connect with the EZlocal Team and we can help you update your business hours on Google My Business and elsewhere to show your customers how and when you’re available for business.

5. Create a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs).

Put together a list of questions your customers are likely to ask related to COVID-19, and provide as much detail and relevant information as possible in your answers. Share this list with EZlocal, and we can publish it to your website.

John’s Fix-it Corner

I have been sitting here looking out the window, watching it snow and the wind is blowing 45 mph. I was hoping someone would tell Mother Nature that spring should be here.

As I watch the news or listen to the radio, they make everything sound so doom and gloom and depressing.  I almost want to shut the doors and call it quits. Then I come to work and talk to our operators and I ask them how they have been doing for the last 2 months. I hear a lot of them say that they are having some success.

Not to say we don’t have our problems – Some operator said that they have been totally shut down, which made March come to a total standstill. And I do know the economy, in a lot of areas, is less than desirable.

Hold on!! I do know that there are a lot of people in this company who are praying for your success and wellbeing. I hope we all can work through this challenging economic time.

Here is a list of some things the successful operators have in common:

  1. The work was out there, and someone forgot to tell their customers that we were in a slow time.
  2. If someone told their customer that times were bad, and they weren’t calling, these operators would go out and make something happen. They would either get more commercial accounts, or more residential, do different advertising, or spend more time out talking to people.
  3. They stopped going after the same apartment or building that all of the low-ball cleaners go after.
  4. They always have some kind of special to give. When times are tight everyone loves a good deal.

Keep doing all of the little things that made your business successful in the first place. If you live in an area that is economically challenged, you’ll have to be a little more creative, but we know you can do it.

NOTE: A woman has the last word in any argument, anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument.
