Welcome aboard, Hector. Sounds like you are doing everything right to get started. We suggest you contact your local newspaper and insert the Franchise Express flyers. When you contact your local newspaper, request for a Monday or Tuesday distribution day. In our territories, Monday was the best day because only two other inserts (a dentist & mortuary ad) were in the Monday paper. However, our newspaper stopped Monday inserts so now we are inserted in the Tuesday newspaper with three other ads (dentist, department store, & insurance company) which still gives us a good response. Also be aware that newspapers will probably have a limit that can be inserted. We schedule for the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of every month. The reason is we can somewhat control what areas we are working, helps cut down the gasoline costs for our two trucks.

Best of luck to you. And get ready the best is yet to come. Soon you will be on your way to Great Success. 🙂

Concerning expenses. When we type in an expense and need to correct it, we have to delete it and start over again.

Most of the time it is just a simple decimal point that needs to be added or a change of date.

Would it be possilbe to have the capability of going into the expense line and just do the simple correction without deleting the whole thing?

    Thanks

When I have been training office assistants, every time we go to remove a entry on the job tab of scheduling an appointment with control delete – a pop up comes up with DELETE RECORD – can’t tell you how many times it panics people.

Could we change the term to DELETE LINE instead.

    Sure appreciate it.

    Thanks JoAnn

Thanks for asking Tyler, I have another request.

Could we have the invoices list our services in the way we want them to appear. As of now everything is alpha. Your comment to use the asterik (*) is a great idea, but other things have now shown it would be easier if we keyed in the way we wanted services rendered to appear. (i.e. 3 Area Special, Sofa, Recliner, chair, discount = everything will appear as 3 Area Special. Chair, Discount, Recliner, sofa)

I do use the *(asterik which does put the discount at the bottom of the line).

    Thanks for your help

Miss the printing of the calendar screen for our techs. I do use the tech report for each man. However the printing of the calendar would show all the techs on one page. That way everyone knew where everyone was going. Also gave our techs the option of when they were done they could go and help the other truck finish up for the day.

😀 Love the Oreck stair buffer each truck has one. We purchased one from the Oreck dealer before Headquarters had them for us. It’s great to get it from Headquarters now. Our first one from the Oreck dealership didn’t last as long as the 2 from Rexburg.

We raised our prices in August, we went up $10 (was 3 areas $99.95; now 3 areas $110). Each additional area now is $30 where it was $25 before. We did let our regulars know we had to increase due to gas prices, most understood.[/i]

    [/i]Hi Ron, Looks good.

Maybe one suggestion, might think about putting Heaven’s Best larger and on a line by itself.

    i.e.:

1st line centered: Do your spots keep coming back?
2nd line centered under question: They won’t with
3rd line centered in Caps under both previous lines: HEAVEN’S BEST !!!

    Good Luck and Take Care

😀 Hi, we charge per area. We find that everyone can count an area but when it comes to measuring our techs are good but our clients aren’t. It saves a lot of time, when charging by per area/room. We have a special every month that starts off at 3 areas for $110 with each additional area at $30.
