I guess that whoever would not shop at Home Depot because they own Chem Dry doesn’t shop at Sears since they also clean lots of carpets?

Personally, I don’t mind showing off my logo on my jacket or sweater or shirt and advertise right next t theirs, in their own store. Or having my van seen in their parking lot…I once got a call from someone in the HD parking lot as I was inside the store.

That’s my 2 cents worth. Now let’s spend some time figuring out how to market our businesses for greater profits…

And a guy was once selling multi-mixers and saw the financial success of a couple of brothers in Southern California. He bought them out and at over 50 years old opened the first McDonalds, as McDonalds Corp., burger doodle, and changed the course of how we eat in the USA.

One of the major decision points for me personally was this, can I do this till I die? After 3 1/2 years, I can honestly say that I cannot picture myself doing anything else.

    Thanks Cody!!!!!!!!!

The hands on work was truly amazing…I am curious what the charge for the kit will be and then price accordingly. We both attended the dyeing class since it is unlikely to do much leather cleaning.

I now wished I had waited for the application of the vinyl… Then I could have learned the easy way. But I am very confident that things will work out once the weather breaks and gets warm and get them fixed right.

Thanks Cody for your behind the scenes efforts for us.

    DITTO!!!!!!!!!!!

An unbelievably well planned event…kudos to Holly!!!!!!!!

A thank you to Kathlynn, who shared our class in July, 2003. Her enthusiasm and positive insights and introduction was just what I needed.

A huge thank you to Cody for his vision and ability to ensure it’s fulfillment…and of course his wife Sherry for her support and wifely love that passes all understanding.

Kudos to the state owners taking time to exchange ideas with my son and me.

To those whom we met, thanks for your conversations, advice and thoughts.

To each and every one of the presenters…THANK YOU so much for sharing your experience and advice. Reading a transcript or watching a video pales to being there and feeling your enthusiasm and energy in the room. Each and every one of you did an outstanding job and can and most probably will make each and every operator in attendance more efficient and/or more profitable. Thanks again.

Most especially, thank you to Bud & LaRee Howard for their support of Cody and their city owners.

I, for one, will rethink and sort out what I have seen and heard. My wife, son and I will implement and consistently reevaluate our Business and Marketing Plans incorporating what we have learned the past two days.

Words are unable to express further my personal appreciation for each and every owner, operator, spouse and employee present. Each of you made a difference in the life of another during the past two days.

    Thanks.

I forget what we got as a rate but it was high…one of the reasons wife not coming. If the rates are now lower, do you guys think I need to remind them of the drop in rates or do they do it automatically. I remember they hit my card for the total really quickly…Thanks, Dave

Call Cody or John, and then take the leather class in LV.

We are in line with most of what everyone is doing We never, ever move antiques and always place tabs under older furniture after cleaning carpet or the upholster to prevent migration of water soluble stain… We the offset furniture from the original dimple and ask the customer to slide into those dimples when the carpet is bone dry.

We rarely charge for spots as they are incorporated for the most part into the $45 average room/area price. Really ugly gets noted beforehand and addressed separately.

    Mike,

Without counting all of the little patches on my van, I would guess there are at least 6-8 patches, where a little piece was cut to cover a rip or tear or split of some kind. From the gitgo it looks like the devil and the bubbles do not help. After paying $381 for decal removal of both vans and then $2400 for the vinyl and then back and forth with FL-ID..etc, I am ready to relax in LV…no gambling or driing or anything dumb like that.just learn and relax, clear the mind a little.

    Mike,

Not to put too fine a point on the issue…but when I spend $2400 for logos for 2 vans, I have a right to be picky. When I have gaps and bubbles and they cannot be repaired until spring, I am fearful of cracking and destruction during our winter….not to mention the 2 different colors of the front of the vans, 1 orangish and the other red. They look terrible together and SAR is not very helpful or responsive…

It is very frustrating knowing that the vinyl will crack or break and mean another patch job on top of the other patch jobs we must live with.

As my mom used to say many moons ago..”son, this too shall pass.”
