My wife and I decided to purchase our franchise because I was tired of being a number on a financial spreadsheet in the clinical laboratory industry. My background is in sales and marketing and I hold a BS in Business Management. We were customers of HB for a number of years in Surprise, AZ prior to moving to Missouri. Jack always did an excellent job! We researched many different franchise opportunities, but HB was always my first choice. I love the work, my customers, and the organization as a whole. For us, this was the best decision we ever made.
jrcarpetclean22ParticipantI have been offering/doing T&G from the start. I charge .50 sq/ft for T&G, and the same for the wood floors. I’m going to raise that .25 if I keep getting jobs. T&G is time consuming and very labor intensive if the floors are real dirty. I have found myself having to clean tough floors two times or more to get them clean. I loath the grout brush. Yes it works, but it will also work you out. The floor that John is cleaning on the demo video is not that dirty so the effort is a bit understated. I would also suggest looking at the condition of the T&G prior to cleaning and charge based on the level of difficulty. Happy Scrubbing! 😛
jrcarpetclean22ParticipantI have three dogs, two cats, and kids. They do a number on my tile. I have also found the swiffer products to work well between cleanings. We use the ‘wet’ swiffer pads for the tile. The scent is actually nice as well.
jrcarpetclean22ParticipantThanks to all who have responded to my post. I appreciate the insight. This organization sets itself apart by the operators cooperating and lending their own experiences and expertise to those of us that are new and green. Thanks again!!!!
