HBPuyallupParticipant
I’m not sure about all of the products but I do know that the protector won’t work after it freezes and the 101 will still work you just need to let all of it thaw out. Fresh scent will still work as well.
HBPuyallupParticipantI have a big cooler that I put in the van that holds most of my products. I don’t have a garage and can’t always get a close parking spot to our house. I also would have to have a long extension cord that would go over and side walk. I can see some dork tripping on it and wanting some money. The cooler will keep things from freezing down to about 20 degrees. It works well some far we have a fairly warm season. If it gets really cold I can just bring in the cooler. I just had a friend come over and blow out the pump on the upholstery mate. I talked to John about this and in theory it should work. I will then just have to use that sprayer instead of the pump. I’m pretty sure it will all be okay.
HBPuyallupParticipantThanks for all the info. I do only want one person to go the area and do the work. I’ve also thought about joining the chamber of commerce. I’ve never been a member of one though. I’ve heard good and bad things about it. I’m hoping, that being a smaller community, that everybody sticks together. I will tell you all how the chamber of commerce goes. I
HBPuyallupParticipantThere is a oxi magic and oxi clean I think are the two names. I assume the have similar process they say dry in 1 hour. I haven’t heard much about them. My concern is that if they do a bad job people won’t want to try us. I don’t really see them a major competition.
HBPuyallupParticipantI tried it once and I really didn’t give it a chance you have to do it for a while and I wasn’t willing to give it the chance. So if you do it give it a while to work.
HBPuyallupParticipantLet us know how it went. I thought that mustard stains just don’t come out.
HBPuyallupParticipantI have clean up some blue stain before and the owner thought that is was cleaning lady. He said window the stain was blue. Came right out so maybe not windex I’m thinking
HBPuyallupParticipantMy business has almost doubled this year. There could be a number of things that has made this possible. One things is that we give the bottle to every customer that has the potential to becoming a repeat customer. So if your moving out of my area sorry. The bottle cost $3.56. I figure that if they use this when their cat vomits they’ll make a clean spot and they’ll see how great the 101 is. Plus it keeps our name if front of them more often. I thinks its worth it. There are some customers however that don’t use it. But that’s okay.
HBPuyallupParticipantI’ve done well with my yellow page ad. The would give me a new phone number and track all the call that would come in and all the ones that went unanswered. I would be at the top spot. It’s $180 a month.
HBPuyallupParticipantSome banks like Wells Fargo won’t tell you if they are sufficent funds in the account, and you can’t cash it even if you bring in the city papers with you business name on it. Others I know will charge a dollar or so. But most banks won’t. If I thinks something is up. I call the bank to verify funds and if they won’t or say that they have a fee. I won’t accept the check and say cash or credit.
HBPuyallupParticipantI have posted this reply before, but don’t know where. I type it again. We know the the 101 is environmentally friendly and safe for pets. This was my wife’s idea. In Fort Collins, CO we can support 3 major natural and organic food stores. We wanted to find out if the 101 was an organic solution or not. I talked to John and asked him the question. He said that he had to look up some words and that he would call me back. He called back and said that it was. We decided to put organic solutions on our yellow page ad. We have had more comments about that particular bullet point than any else. I know that it is not certified organic and I do tell people that. I think when people see a carpet clean up a well as us they wonder how harsh is it. Also dry in one hour I assume they think the same thing. If this is the case I also assume that they see the safe solution and dry in one hour. How can they not book with us. I hope this helps everyone.
HBPuyallupParticipantThe FAE will work for a little bit mix in the 101, but will quickly break down the 101. Not recommended to mix the 101
HBPuyallupParticipantOne thing about those pump up sprayers. The pieces don’t like to get hot I have found in a short amount of time they will expand and not work very well.
HBPuyallupParticipantOver the years I have known some carpet salesman/installers. One guy said that there is a carpet out there that has a 10 year stain PROOF warranty. This guy was also a carpet inspector for 20 years. They say you can pour 100% bleach on is and it won’t bleach it out. Dave is right I do believe. If she had this it would eliminate the protectant.
HBPuyallupParticipantI understand that fresh scent will leave a residue if not rinsed out. Am I wrong? If not they would then have to rinse it out. If they want the smell maybe a 1:32 mix instead of a 1:16 mix. Maybe that won’t leave a residue
